I’ve been to the other location, so I was expecting the same quality of food and service. The server, Jasmine, was very nice, and she took care of us. However, the food was half and half. I ordered a shrimp basket in the shrimp was cooked golden brown and tastes very good. But when he came to the catfish, that was something else. You could tell it was cooked in old grease because it was very dark and two of my friends had the same thing and we all said it had the same taste in common: SALTY!! Omg it was extremely salty as soon as you’ve been into it. Someone who has blood pressure issues would definitely be in trouble if they ate that. There was a white, older lady with glasses (who claimed she was the manager) that came and told one of my friends that she could not give her a refund and she could not pick something else off of the menu, but the only thing she could do was have the same exact thing remade. That was very sketchy to me, because any restaurant that I have gone to, if someone isn’t satisfied with what they ordered, they are typically offered either a refund or a selection of some thing else on the menu. So, when our server came back, I asked her if that was true, that my friend could only get the same exact thing remade, and she said that was not true. The lady claimed she was the manager and we didn’t get her name but I feel that was very poor customer service for the hospitality industry. To be told that you cannot have a refund for something that was not prepared to your liking is not something I would imagine anybody wants to hear. I would be very upset. If I am basically being told that my hard earned money is not going to be given back to me. One of my other friends also had to ask for her crab to be replaced because the crab she had was old and you could visibly see it. Overall, I don’t know if I would go back to this location. I went to the location on University and had no issues with the food nor service. If you do, choose to go here, please take into consideration that this particular lady is not willing to replace an item or refund you your money if it is not prepared properly and this is no fault of your own.

Reading the reviews on here and google, I was skeptical, but my experience was great. We came on a Friday around 6pm. The place is so big, so it wasn't that busy yet. We were seated immediately. I opted for half pound of crawfish and snow crab each. The half pound of snow crab is $18. It came with 1.5 clusters. It was plenty for me! I got it with a medium spice level, and if you can eat spicy, then this would just be mild. I would go up a spice level. The flavors were really good and very salty. If you're sensitive to salt, the mighty seasoning may not be the one for you. I love salt, so it was great. I like to break up the potatoes and let them sit in the sauce to soak it up while I eat the other things. It came with 2 huge potatoes! The crab legs were steamed perfectly and not overdone. I really enjoyed it. If you're a fan of good southern sweet tea, then get the tea here. It's super sweet, and idk why, but I just love drinking sweet tea when I'm eating really salty foods. Our server was good, and everything came out fairly quickly. I would definitely come back when I'm craving seafood boil!

The good and bad collide at this restaurant. The oysters on the half shell were delicious and my husbands cooked in a bag mixed grill of lobster, snow crab and pond raised shrimp was tasty, but too spicy for my taste and on the pricy side of $30. Pond raised shrimp are disgusting-most are raised in fresh water ponds and fed inadequate food, they have none of the delicate taste of wild caught shrimp. Fried oysters should not be cocooned in a batter so heavy it's hard to find the oyster-2/3ds less breading would have been much better. They use plastic silverware which is totally inadequate to break into snow crab legs and their shell crackers hardly made a dent in the crabs. The napkins are tiny and in a pop up dispenser. We probably used 20 each even with the also tiny bibs. A trip to the bathroom for hand washing was totally necessary before touching my wallet. Also, they had no vegetable choices except fried potatoes and fried onion rings. No cole slaw, green beans or anything remotely healthy. One and done for me.

The Mighty Crab, to say it was just is a disservice to the establishment. If you’re the type of person that would complain about someone giving you a million dollars in all one’s then this isn’t the place for you. The service was amazing, the young lady serving my table was kind, polite and happy to tend to our request. The atmosphere was relaxing and I have to confess it’s absurdly difficult to not enjoy this wonderful little seafood place. I spoke with the manager for a few minutes and he definitely has vision, and a direction for this restaurant and it shows. The music was just unlike anything else, I heard everything from OutKast to Maroon 5, from a hand picked playlist from his customers. He asked me what song needed to be added, that was a first for me. I had the steamed oysters, and get this you can pick how you want them cooked and flavored…umm excuse me… yes more please! I had fried pickles as well. Price point was agreeable and the portion size was appropriate for the price. They came out crispy and hot. Definitely not that bagged product like the chain restaurants are serving. I also had the bag dinner, I picked a pound of snow crab and shrimp in a garlic butter sauce and no spice. There are a lot of options on the menu 1/2 pound or pound meals. Numerous items to choose from, almost got the scallops, maybe next time. Then you have seasonings to choose from and then a spice level. This place is relaxing, friendly, amazing atmosphere and the food is so good, I just polished off the rest of those pickles and still good cold. Personally I needed a nice relaxing dinner for a change. It seems places like that do still exist. I honestly think the real reason I will be back is when the manager said he would gladly have his family eat there. I agree I would gladly bring my family and friends there as well and...

My wife and I went to Mighty Crad on Shackleford road in Little Rock, Arkansas on 12/21/2024 to grab a bite to eat. We did not like the way the staff was so unprofessional at doing their jobs. My wife and I waited for about 10 to 15 minutes for someone to come and ask us if we wanted a table or booth, we asked for booth so the waitress who we thought was the hostess told us that as soon as the busboy clean the booth off that she will seat us there. My wife and I waited another 10 minutes for the waitress to come back to seat us but she never returned, so we seated ourselves where she told us where we will be sitting. 10 to 15 minutes passed by and finally the hostess came to our table and asked us is it just the two of you dining, we said yes and he left. 10 to 15 more minutes past and no one came to the table to take our order or ask what will we be drinking. Finally my wife had to stop one of the waitresses and tell her that we had been sitting here for about 15 minutes and no one has stopped to take our order or ask us anything, the waitress said since you didn't wait for someone to seat you that you don't have a server to take your order. My wife and I talked to the waitress that was supposed to seat us and she really didn't have anything to say and we talked to the hostess and the only thing he could say is that we were supposed to have waited to be seated by him. My wife and I will not be eating at this...
