We bought a bed and the warehouse brought the wrong mattress so we called and they immediately sent out another mattress. We noticed right away that it didn't feel anything like the one we layed on at the store so I went in and took a picture of the brand and the materials that were used to build it.
Right away I noticed that the mattress at the store was built differently than the one they brought me. I called the manager Moe and he contacted the Rep that took care of that brand and the Rep informed him that they just recently changed the makeup of the materials and for some reason they forgot to notify Mancini's.
Moe assured me that they would take care of me and in my head I was thinking here we go again... Much to my surprise I arrived at the store and Moe again reassured me that they would take care of me. I layed down on the next mattress in line and it was perfect! The only problem was that it was $2,000 more than the one I originally purchased. My heart stopped when he once again said David we are going to take care of you and at no additional cost he exchanged the much better mattress for the mattress we originally bought. As he shook my hand goodbye he told me that at Mancini's they always keep their word because it's always about the customer and never about the bottom line!

Read moreI had to buy a mattress set for an elderly relative, and had to do it from a distance of 200 miles away from him. I'm no good at online shopping -- never can find all the info I need on websites. So I started with websites, then continued by phoning the 800 number on Mancini's. It redirected me to a real human being at a real store, the Lodi one. Good! He was able to answer all those questions and I placed the order. One thing that attracted me to Mancini's was the prompt delivery feature. Well, when it came to delivery it was one SNAFU after another. Salesman promised one delivery window but the warehouse scheduled me for a different delivery window. Without telling me until the last minute. Got that straightened out, then when the delivery team arrived to bring the new mattress set, they refused to take the old one away. I had been depending on that, considering the California law that requires retailers to offer no-charge take-back of a customer's used one. None of the Mancini employees (salesman, delivery personnel, warehouse staff, dispatcher) seemed at all familiar with that law when I brought up the subject. As it turns out , there is an exception in the law: they are allowed to refuse to take contaminated mattresses. Which makes sense, now that I know about it. Still, I would expect the Mancini folks to say "Sorry, yes there is the law but this is an allowed exception" instead of "huh?". Even better, it would have been nice for the salesman to give me a heads-up when I made reference to the contamination at the time...
