This Baymont Hotel located in London, Kentucky, right off of Hwy I-75, was a Life Saver for Myself & My boyfriend, due to My Oldest Son & his "Girlfriend" were having their 1st Baby, and My 1st Grand-Baby at the Saint Joseph Hospital (Kentucky One Health) there in London, KY. And the Hospital was Straight across Hwy I-75 from the Baymont Hotel. The Hotel is doing renovations, which I believe Will only make them even a more Outstanding Hotel to stay at, as to the Outstanding Hotel they already Currently are. They also have an outside Swimming Pool that's Gated, which is wonderful for safety purposes. The Hotel Serves a nice Hot Breakfast, which was very good. There are also Drink(s) and Snack(s) Vending machines, & of course the Ice Vending machines as well. The Hotel Management & other hotel employees at this location were All just Fabulous & Wonderful & Absolutely Friendly, and also Very Helpful. The Bed 🛏 we had in our Room Was out of this world Comfortable, just Fantastic, I did not want to get out of it! Our room also had a loveseat sofa, which also pulled out into a Twin sized bed, which came in handy for my Son to crash out on. I Loved the fact that the Bathroom area was Located at the Back of the Room!! The Room was actually very clean, even with the renovations going on, including inside the room we stayed in, that was being prepared for it's renovation. And the carpet had just been cleaned, which was very nice to have. The hotel also had like the Best TV System set up that I've Ever seen or had in Any other Hotel I've stayed at, and I stay at quite a few of them, from all over the place, with my bf for our Express Delivery Co., and instead of having just the usual Channels you would normally get, this Baymont Hotel had a whole System in place, like a person would have at home, like having Dish or DirecTV or other like Systems. You get those kind of Channels, and Very Clear channel's etc. Our room also came with a Refrigerator/small freezer, a microwave and a small coffee pot. We will Definitely Stay at this Baymont Hotel again. It wasn't Expensive, but as we know all to well, is that having or getting an Expensive Hotel, Does Absolutely NoT mean that, that Makes Any Hotel the Best one to stay at, Period. So, if you want to stay at a hotel that is super friendly, helpful, comfy beds, hot breakfast, and Save some money, I recommend this Baymont Hotel in London, Kentucky. Our experience was a Fantastic One!! Hope your Stay will be a Great one as well, if any of you out there choose to stay there as...
Read moreFront desk was extremely nice! Hotel looks nice from the outside once you figure out how to get in ( driving late it’s hard to see the roads ). The doors from the outside going into the hallways don’t have locks. It looks like it’s probably being redone as the walls and doors are more modern and the carpet is from another era. The room is a little sketchy. The paint on the walls is missing in places, the floor lamp has a hard lean, they stuck 2 very nice chairs in here but they look awkward and out of place. There is a glow necklace hanging from the fire alarm from previous guests, and the old, dated floor needs vacuumed which has me ultimately guessing if our beds are even clean. The bathroom is very dated, I’m talking brown motel bath tub dated. The fridge has a serious wobble, but it works. The wallpaper is falling down. The pillows are squares? The blankets are thin, not the fluffy comforters. Ceilings are The aesthetic of the room is just not there, nothing flows except for the placement of the beds. This is the roughest hotel room I’ve personally been in. I know they are under renovation, maybe they just haven’t made it to this room yet? For more than $70 I expected much more. I’m glad I was able to find a room, I’m grateful for a bed to sleep in .. but would I recommend this place? With a heads up to check the room first yeah. Would I stay here again? I might give it another chance after renovations are done, but not in this condition. I definitely could have got better for the price. Would rate it 2 stars but the front desk was really great, and I’m hopeful that things...
Read moreWe had to rent 2 different hotel rooms, bc our electric went out during this winter storm. Also tragedy has struck my family and we lost my aunt and my daughters father. In same week. The hotel staff was amazing. They made sure we were in room beside our other fmaily. The rooms were cleaned by Heather, Edith, Rockey. Ladies AWESOME JOB! I wasnt worried about letting my kids take baths, the room was super nice and very clean, and smelled very nice. Shaundata, and leann were the nicest and sweetest people, very friendly. Leann the night shift girl was busting her butt cleaning and she still took care of my needs and stopped what she was doing. Calvin the maintenance man was super friendly also. That man was put shoveling ice and snow for hours, trying to make it safe for their guests. Good guy. Now saving the best for last, Tiffany..I thought she was the absolute sweetest person. So very friendly and just made you feel very at home and at ease. She talked to me and I told her about my family traveling to London to see me. She told me about the rewards program and so did shaundra. While talking with tiffany, I got emotional bc of all that had been going on with my family and the electric going out. The storm kept me from being with my daughter at her fathers funeral today. She was very empathetic to me, and sweet. These people I mentioned went above and beyond. They obviously made an impact on me, enough that I felt the need to leave this review. Whoever owns this hotel has did an amazing job...
