Slim Chickens — Restaurant in London

This was my first time at a Slim Chickens location. I definitely was not impressed. The wait in the drive-thru line was exceedingly long, with no apology from the employee at the drive-thru window. The young man at the drive-thru window neglected to give my daughter's strawberry cheesecake dessert to me with our order. I looked in the bag and told him the dessert was not in there. He asked me to look in the bag and I told him I just had and could confirm to him it was not in the bag. He just kind of laughed and shrugged his shoulders and walked away. He came back to the window momentarily and handed it to me. My daughter and I got back on to the interstate and proceeded on our way home which was two and a half hours away, to discover they shorted us a chicken tender in our five-piece meal. The 4 tenders that were in our meal were extremely small and definitely not worth the price we were charged! It was obviously way too far to turn around and go back for the missing tender but it was very aggravating nonetheless. The fried mushrooms as our side dish was exceedingly over- seasoned and unpleasant to eat. I would be extremely leery about ever returning to any of this...

I rarely give 2 stars but this was not a nice experience. First, after a short wait I was called up to order when a manager looking person waved me off and said she needed the register. When the other register opened the cashier walked away! The woman on the other register demanded she stay and take my order. Then we waited and waited. When I went up to ask why we were waiting so long I got a song and dance from Mark who said he was prioritizing my order. Huh? Then he brought my order out and gave me a scratch off card telling me he appreciates my patience. My 9 year old spilled his drink, knocked a paper towel roll across the dining room and was a complete grouch by the time the food arrived. The table next to us arrived at least 5 minutes after us, had their order messed up but, were all served and given free treats for the inconvenience all before we were served. You can't...

Never again!!!! I really wanted to like this place but my first and only trip there today was enough for me. I ordered a four piece chicken strip meal and it tasted like trash to the point I wasn’t able to eat it all. Chicken was probably spoiled. Went there at 10:30 in the morning and it’s now 8:00 at night and this is the only thing I’ve eaten all day. I’ve been vomiting up that awful food from this morning and pretty sure you all have given me food poisoning. Now I’ll have to miss work in the morning. Paid $11 for food poisoning.
