I gave it a couple weeks to see if my mind would change any but it hasn't so I'm here to post how wrong Texas Roadhouse staff did us on our last visit. Couple weeks ago we checked in online for our party of 3. Arrived. One of our party had some stomach issues and went to the bathroom. We received our "gather your party" notice so the other 2 of us went to the counter to check in and get a booth. They took us to one of the small 2 person booths. We explained no we were a party of 3 and asked for one of the many open 4 person booths nearby. They said no we had to go back to the counter to get the bigger booth. Really?? Theres literally 15plus open booths right where we were standing and you just said it was our turn to be seated. We registered as aparty of 3 so who's mistake is it? Nope gotta go back to the front door and start over. We get back to the counter and they asked where our 3rd party was and we explained they had gone to the bathroom could we just go ahead and get one of the many opened booths and start ordering we had another appointment to be at soon? They rudely stated no we had to "Stand Against The Wall!" and wait for the person in the bathroom. Is this a restauraunt or probation and parole??? We walked outside. Our 3rd party finally came out and when we told them what happened they were embarrassed because they were the one with stomach issues and felt they ruined our outing. I said no it was Texas Roadhouse staff who was ruining it and I went back in to locate the manager only to find she was as bad as the rude girls at the counter. She was zero help. Didn't give a flip. Said there were no other booths available when half the restauraunt was empty! Isnt it her job to resolve SIMPLE issues and keep the customers coming back? They had plenty of booths. We were paying customers! What the hell did we do wrong that deserved all of the BS?? We asked to be seated while our friend used the restroom. This was after we had been notified our table for 3 was ready!
We drove to the next exit to the Old Town Grill and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, delicious sliders, fries and loaded potato bites! That is where we will go from now on. The service was extremely friendly, fast and the food cooked right the first time. And we wern't ordered against a wall while one of the party went to the restroom!
Texas Roadhouse is losing lifelong customers by handling themselves all wrong. I even asked the manager to look over at the front desk at all of the sour faced scowls on the faces of the girls standing there. It sure wasn't looks of friendliness. Manager didnt care and actually as I walked out the door I heard the totally sarcastic HAVE A NICE DAY! We did thanks! But it happened elsewhere.

We ordered through the app and got a couple Caesar Salads and some extra butter. When I arrived and walked in, there was no one near the takeout area but a lady who was cleaning the windows went and told the person behind the “black curtain” I was there. He didn’t really seem to eager and tried to hand the bag off to her but she declined as she was still wearing the gloves she had been wearing to clean. The person managing our order asked me to verify everything was there. I noticed immediately the rolls were hard and cold. I asked if they were not heating the rolls any longer - he said “we just made those” - and before I could respond in any way he told me to have a nice day ensuring I understood his dismissive tone and his clear disinterest in customer satisfaction. But since we tend to reheat the rolls anyway I said that’s fine we can just reheat them. I handed the rolls off to my wife when I got into my truck and the first thing she noticed was they were hard cold and way over cooked. Once we got home we also noticed the Caesar salad lettuce mix barely covered the bottom of the container, two small pieces of croutons were there as well but no Parmesan and the extra salad dressing that we had purchased also not present. We are Roadhouse aficionado’s and have to say this is a very bad sign- when you are willing to charge someone to deliver poor quality product and feel their concerns are unwarranted then the company is in decline. I remember watching Outback Steakhouse taking the same approach to deteriorating food quality - rather than listening to those willing to speak up prior to dumping them as a favorite they elected to believe their dominance in the market was sufficient to maintain sales and profitability. Read moreWe had a large party of 16 ppl on a Sunday evening. 1/14/2024, 8:00PM. I can not express how disappointed I am in this restaurant!! After waiting FOREVER……Every single thing was screwed up. Starting with the drinks, probably 50% of the drinks were wrong. We then ordered entrees, no joking…..listen to this list of stuff that they were out of—No bacon for salads, no croutons, no kabobs, no steak tips, AND no french fries, one person ordered 3 different kinds of beer b4 they had one. And thats just the stuff I know about. I couldn’t hear everyone’s complaints. They neglected to tełl us about the missing stuff until AFTER 45 minutes, when they brought everything out with half of every order missing. Not a single plate got everything they ordered. They asked if we wanted to substitute while our steaks were getting cold(er). Some ppl requested substitutions, some didn’t. But at any rate the substitutions didn’t show until everyone was finished eating what they had already received. THEN, ppl that had ordered AFTER us, got fries. Yes, you read that correctly, their whole table got fries. 2 of our party members burgers were burnt so badly they couldn’t eat them, they were dry, not dressed at all. Looked horrible, they didn’t eat them. Absolutely not one single person out of 16 got their entire order. Our poor waitress was literally crying saying that “it’s like this EVERY single Sunday, we’re always out of EVERYTHING” & her manager was just throwing her under the bus……by telling her to “tell them this, or tell them that” hoping we would just leave (I guess), younger female manager needs fired IMO, we had to ask 3 times to see her and she finally came out, barely spoke, very rude, no thought for the customer experience at all. Definitely not management material. We were supposed to be having a nice family outing with extended family. It Was very embarrassing to say the least. I expect better from my home town. I was telling my son, he said they had a similar experience on a different day. I should have taken pictures, but I normally NEVER complain. This was just horribly excessive...
