DoubleTree by Hilton Chatsworth — Hotel in Los Angeles

i stayed here sometime ago but what happened still irritates me when i think about it so now i feel i have to tell my story in the hope that i can feel better. i was on holiday in L.A. for a few days and stayed here before travelling onto Las Vegas. When i arrived in Vegas i unpacked and noticed thst i had left an expensive bottle of aftershave and a 30 dollar phone card back in my room at the Radisson. I knew i was returning to stay at the hotel in a few days time so i thought id get the items back then. When i returned i spoke with the manager whom i can only describe as being like Borat from the film. I told him my story and he said hed take a look. He went through a door at the back of reception and returned a minute later to say that he had found nothing. I dont like a scene or confrontation so i let it go but i should have called the police and...

I stayed here a couple of nights for a business trip and had a wonderful stay!! The housekeeping and desk staff were all so accommodating and friendly that I felt right at home. They went to great lengths to set up my room in an accessible way and ensure that I had everything I needed, which I am incredibly thankful for. On top of that, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely be returning to this hotel again when I am back...

faccio una premessa: vengo negli USA da vent'anni quindi di hotel ne ho fatti parecchi, questo era buono fino a un paio d'anni fa, poi e caduto molto in basso dai servizi alla qualità' in generale, entrando nei dettagli: la notte è impossibile dormire, tra il via vai, gente che usa la laundry room all'1 di notte e addirittura un addetto che spazza alle 2 di notte battendo contro le porte non so cosa sia peggio. Purtroppo a livello di clientela ė scaduto da hotel x uomini d'affari a motel a 1 stella con clientela ad 1 stella. Mi è capitato alcune volte di avere problemi in altre catene e al check out il manager scusandosi mi ha scontato almeno la notte che non ho dormito, qui non solo non hanno preso in considerazione la mia richiesta di uno sconto (preciso che ho fatto qui ben 16 notti e che sono cliente di questo hotel da 8 anni) ma se ne sono assolutamente fregati di tutte le mie problematiche, il massimo è stato sentirmi dire sorry, sorry, sorry dal manager ma coi sorry non si dorme e intanto si pagano le notti in bianco. al suo sorry, sorry, sorry rispondo con shame,...
