The Mustang is an iconic motel in socal . It isnt the fanciest place you will find but it has many amenities most motels and hotels do not . For one every single room has mirrors on the ceiling and headboard which really ads something to your experience ..you can use your imagination on that one . Second is the heart shaped jacuzzi rooms ..Yes is dated and goddy but i still get excited when i see that huge heart shaped tub . Some rooms only have small jacuzzis but there are for sure more rooms with them then most motels . its clean enough and for the location its not as rowdy as one would think . there is an element of somewhat lewd activity but it ads to the ambiance in my opinion . i wouldnt take children or grandparents there ..this is a place to take your honey on v day. Its actually not too expensive either which is great who doesnt like a good deal right ? The dont have breakfast but there is a donut shop close by and burger king and around ten am there is a sidewalk guy that sells cut up fruit and also bbq chicken fajita type sidewalk guy too all within walking distance but be aware its not the safest of areas so be aware of your...
Read moreThe Mustang hotel is THEE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED. Room 205 was nasty, the cover had 3 holes in it and the bathroom had so much MOLD in the shower that I couldn't use it. The curtain had holes in it so if I could see out, then that meant people could see in. I slept in my clothes because you could see in my room. No one answered the office phone so I could tell them about these problems. I am 3000 miles from home so I didn't come out of the room until morning. There is a running marathon in town so there is a shortage of rooms in the city. Oh, and did I mention that there were no face cloths in the bathroom. I had to clean the toilet before I could use it. I AM VERY UNHAPPY and I was offered the room right next to mine but it was no better AND it had no TV. All these problems for $110.00 for the night. I am forced to stay one more night because of the shortage of rooms in the city. I asked for the manager and I was told that he was off for 2...
Read moreI took an Uber up there to get a room and shortly after my phone died. They would not give me a room even though the parking lot was completely empty and there was curtains open in almost all of the rooms, which means that the rooms are empty. I felt a bit discriminated upon but didn't understand it. As I stood outside trying to figure out which way to walk so that I can charge my phone, I noticed a great amount of prostitutes that came up to me to talk. Pimps came up to me to talk as well and tried to get me to go with them. If they did not rent to me because I look too high of quality for their block then, I can only say thank you. If they did not rent to me for other reasons, I think that that sucks. I had money and I was ready to pay for a room. Possibly, the prostitutes pay multiples in rent and they save the...
