Uptown Inn & Suites — Hotel in Mableton

The room I stayed in had a filthy oven ,beyond filthy. I showed it to the housekeeper, thinking she might clean it . I took pictures of it so you wouldn't think I was lying,""HUGE " brown spots covering the entire oven ,and I left it like I found it too.The towels and washcloths were thin and dingy( afraid to use them ),the lady at the front desk was rude ,nasty and condescending.The floor had patched tiles and you could still see the holes in the old ,wood floor underneath the tiles( I took pictures of these holes).The floors were unlevel and when you walked ,it sqeeked.The mattress was covered in large brown spots and no mattress cover(I used a sheet to cover the mattress and some kind of white powder was all over the mattress,I guess to hide the filth and brown spots).The tub had black spots where the surface had come off ,the chair had huge brown and black stains of dirt covering it( I didn't sit in it ,too filthy! I put my computer in it on top of a piece of plastic )The furniture look like it was twenty years old with large areas of wood peeled surfaces of wood peeled off..The doors to the kitchen cabinets , near the knobs had large areas of peeling paint .The curtains were at least twenty years old with hooks missing and holes in the curtains.The electrical oulets so worn,that they couldn't hold the plug- in .The neighbor next door,you could hear yelling to the neighbor on the other side," stop slamming that door,frequently. She would have episodes of crying spells which consisted of banging on the floors with an,object and screaming.Uptown required a 100.00 dollar deposit and the nasty , rude clerk tried to charge you extra for anything so she could keep your deposit ex: like the two towels are not clean enough,that will be 20.00 dollars and 10.00 for two wash cloths(they were dingy from the start)The pillows should not be called pillows,four of them don't equal one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DILAPIDATED PLACE! Oh,and there are old refrigerators, AC units, grocery carts,furniture and other junk stored outside,looks like a junk yard in certain areas.It not fit to be called nothing other than a dump and...

They charged 377 a week plus 100 deposit for 3 people. You need to do a walk through with someone from the office when you check the room for the first time and when you check out. Make sure you have a checklist of everything they say should be in the room like trash cans, ashtrays, shower curtains, tables, chairs, amount of towels and bed linen, check for damage done previously, if you dont check you will be blamed and charged for it out of your deposit, they will tell you it was there even if it was not. There are roaches and fleas. It was quiet at night. They do walk throughs 2 times a night or more. Laundry room that close at 9pm. Large list of rules and fines please take a picture of them. Room 218 has been changed to 214 and the tub is damaged, the toilet seat needs replacing and paint was poured in the toilet previously. I give it 2 stars because it was peaceful and quiet most nights great night sky view and convenient to everything so the stars have nothing to do with the establishment. Update: These people are crooks, even the recent reviews show that. We as customers don't have to prove anything, we are sharing our experience at this place, if you stay for a extended period of time you will find out the truth. The truth is always revealed. Karma exists. They can end up needing a place to stay and go through worse. Always be careful of how you treat people. It's sad because they have kids and they may be creating bad karma for their lives in the future due to the parents ignorance and cruelty to others. Why come to the USA to...

Long post ahead!!!! My husband and myself stayed here for a couple of weeks when we first got there no problems at all everything was great! Someone gave me wrong information about where the dumpster was and got called to the office no problem we talked it out. 2 days later I was getting accused of dropping off trash in the wrong place how they knew because the maintenance man said he went through the trash and found credit card receipts in my husband's name. Then we get call to the office again and this time we were told that we were being kicked out when we first got the room the maintenance man said that the previous attendant had vision problems and brought his own TV in the room so when he left he mounted a TV to the dresser but the TV was not mounted so my husband has vision problems and all we did was move the TV so he could see the TV was sitting on a nail nothing holding it down so the lady in the office had the maintenance man come and take our TV out of the room because she didn't want us to steal it if that's not being racist then I don't know what it is because my husband is black and everything happened within the two three weeks we were there after they kicked us out our card was being charged $400 I don't see how it's legal for them to have you right down your credit card number so they can charge you later on by typing in your number so be aware when you come here $50 if they find out you have company $20 if you break a rule leave your lights on leave your AC on when you're not in the room $20 and...
