Omg I’ve visited this location 3 times and only got my food once. The first visit was good the second visit I felt as if I walked into a ghetto brawl with some women I don’t even know. They treated me like I took one of the men from the door. I walked in no greeting, no one came to the counter to ask if I need help. They young black girl I asked if I can place a to go order looked up from her phone pointed at another girl and said over there. That girl looked at me like don’t come over here so I walked out. Today I go in the place had 1 customer and 6 employees. The counters were dirty and I’m assuming they were giving a class or something. They all gathered around the grill while a lady is talking. I was told I have to wait 20 min for them to break a grill down however same energy given like no one likes their job. Be thankful you have one and if you guys were nicer and more professional I’m sure you could go further than Waffle House. Don’t go here if u want quality customer service I really didn’t want to give customer service any stars I had to at least give a 1 and be blessed. 11/3 tried it again and I think you will be fine if you get certain waitresses. The Caucasian lady and one young black girl was very nice and spoke to everyone. The rest of them yes black just as myself was walking around cursing and watching me like a hawk writing this review. Don’t go to Jersey she sucks.
Not sure who changed the people in thus place but thank you. I actually order to go here now and they are so nice. Thank...
Read moreI always see this Waffle House location when I go to church at St. Francis De Sales, and finally I had a reason to stop in.
The staff was immediately attentive. It was busy, which makes sense on a Sunday morning, but I was eating solo so I got a chair at the countertop.
I asked how the eggs were made and my server confirmed they used margarine so that was a no go. But burger parties are thrown right on the griddle with salt and pepper. My order was unusual, just plain burger patties, no buns, no toppings, no condiments, and certainly no margarine. I got a questioning look, but then my server immediately put the order in.
Luckily I'm not celiac because each patty did still arrive on a bun, but she saw that, asked if that was ok, and brought me another plate to put the buns on. Another server, potentially a shift lead or manager, was also having kindly conversation with the guest next to me. It's nice to see people treated like family.
They didn't charge me full price for the burgers either. Normally $4.50, they only charged $3.00, which is steep for an individual 1/4lb patty, but you have to recognize the environment. People are giving you the convenience of making a meal for you. I can order them for $1.50 each at Wendy's, but that is a different style of fast food and a different environment.
The overall experience was pleasant as it generally is at Waffle House. It was a nice way to...
Read moreI dine at Waffle House a lot during my weekly work travels from GA, AL & MS but this was my first time going to this one. I will not go back. My granddaughter was out of school due to voting and I thought I'd take her to Waffle House at 8:30 am for breakfast, we walked in and was told to sit anywhere, we did. We sat, ordered to dine in, I mentioned to the waitress how load the music was (like being in a night club at 8:30 a.m.) & I'm too old to be in anyone's night club...she smiled & walked off with our order, the music came up even louder, and a couple started to sing aloud I guess because I'd mentioned it. So when the waitress returned I asked her to please change our order to go because the music was so loud my grand daughter sitting right across from me could not hear me and I noticed the orders had to be called a couple of times because it/the music was so load....I paid my bill and tipped (because I always do) and realized she'd not only found us leaving a joke she also added a to go fee to my order (considering we had to leave because of the excessively loud noise). Very unprofessional and slightly upset at how this situation took place. I encourage families not to go to this Waffle House, I guess it's basically for young kids...
