I just recently left the store and I am appalled. The shopping experience was horrific and the treatment of certain patrons but the Spanish lady was not welcoming. As soon as my mother and I entered the store. She screamed out "its 7 o clock" and started vacuuming when the store closes at 8pm. Aside from my mother and I there were 2 other black families is in the store and apparently a customer who used to work there. As I was shopping I could hear the Spanish lady and the former employer conversing about how she was treated and asking her if she would ever come back to work and she responded "hell no!" I got a glimpse as to why and it helped me to determine why I would not come back either. My family are frequent paying customers like everyone else and we notice how we and the other families of color were followed around the store. I believe that the Spanish lady yelled that it was 7pm when we arrived in hopes that we would hurry and not stay long. She projected her stereotypes and fear of other ethnicities on to hardworking people and it was sensed by all the black families in the store. We felt unwelcome and basically just tolerated. The last straw was watching a little black girl, happily helping her grandmother shop and showing her different pieces of clothing and jewelry. The grandmother wasn't nearby but a blind person could tell this was a harmless shopping experience that any granddaughter would do with her loving grandma... but because they were black , the Spanish lady shouted from the registers "Don't play with the jewelry please!!!" She embraced the young girl because she was annoyed with her, because she knew what the young girl was doing because she was watching all of us so it was clear that she wasn't playing but the lady was fishing for a reason to be rude. This was an absolute turn off and by reading all the other reviews that speak about this women and their similar experiences with her, I'm shocked that she is still employed there. I won't be back and I dont encourage anyone who worships the God of all nations, colors and creeds to return either because this is not an establishment that we should support with such disheartening ideologies,...

Read moreI’ve shopped at this store many times in the past. I went a couple of years not shopping here because I’m just always busy. I found the time to stop in and look around. I was very happy to find out that they offer girl clothing now. I’ll be sure to bring my daughter next time. Darlene the store manager has the best customer service ever. She’s such a wonderful woman, very helpful and has a positive attitude. I was embarrassed to tell her that I wanted to split my payment and she reinsured me that I wasn’t the only one to ask that. She made me feel less embarrassed. Thank you so much, I’ll be sure to swing by again for more...
