The Wexford hotel — Hotel in Marshall Township

The only thing good about this place is the location, and good luck figuring out where to enter at night. Overpriced at $133 a night, and charged twice for the same room (the cc company can resolve this). The place smells of mold and the humidity is horrible. When you walk in to the dark room have your phones flashlight ready because you cant find the light switch. The toilet seat was broke, floor not mopped, used soap in the shower, and 3 towels for 4 ppl. The sink also had a bar of used soap. Remote batteries were dead, so I left the back open and pitched the batteries . Sheets on the bed looked liked they had been bawled up when taken out of the dryer (maybe they were not changed from the past renters - not sure). The good morning breakfast - no such thing unless you like dry cereal, nothing in the minifridge and no batter materials to make waffles, nothing but hungry kids. I guess had anyone who worked the desk been at the desk, we could've asked after waiting around for 20 minutes. Hope they got our badges we left there.

Stayed two nights on the first night our hotel room flooded from the room above us. Water poured through the light fixtures in the ceiling(see photos). We were not given a new room because they were full. Hotel worker simple gave us a handful of towels, mopped a little and then left. The next day there was no hot water. After speaking with the front desk they told us to let the shower run for five minutes and it should turn hot. After 5 minutes it was still ice cold. At check out we asked for a refund and was told they would give it to us. However we would need to handle it through Expedia because that is who we booked through. After speaking with Expedia we were told the Hotel would gladly give us $20 for the trouble. This place is a joke I highly recommend not...

This is the absolute worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. There are no closets. There aren’t even hooks for ANYTHING. The floors are filthy. My footprints were literally BLACK in the shower. I didn’t have any hot water, and I called the front desk. They said they’d “look into it”. 45 minutes later I called again, and all they said was that the maintenance person wasn’t there yet. She didn’t even call me back to tell me. I demanded a new room, which I got. There is current water just running from the ceiling in the hallway across from my room. I made a mistake and had to book for an additional night at 160 DOLLARS. I asked for some type of discount for my stay and they said no. Customer service is nonexistent.
