Subway — Restaurant in Franklin Park

I stopped in today with a coupon that would give me one free footlong if I ordered a meal which I did. One cheesesteak and one black ham sub, they were fine. I got a bag of chips and when I went to get a drink, two drink pumps wouldn't give the drink I wanted. I told the gentleman behind the counter that there was a problem, he said it was working fine withot coming out and checking. He told me me to get a bottle of coke which I did. I paid and got my change and left a tips, however I when when I got home I realize that I didn't get a receipt in order to verify if I paid too much. I have had dealings with that gentleman before, I am not sure what his problem is, maybe he is not use to having African American customers, I hope that that...

On Thursday, 09/04/2025, I went to this Subway location. The menu displayed said that on Thursdays, the special was the 6' inch Chicken Bacon Ranch meal deal for $6.99 with $3 more for the 12 inch sandwich. So, I ordered a 12 inch Chicken Bacon Ranch meal thinking that, based on the menu, it would cost around $10 before taxes. However, when paying for my meal, I was charged $16.94 before taxes. When I asked about it, I was told that the menu that was displayed was a new menu and it was not in effect yet. I did not see anything that indicated that the menu was not in effect and it seemed odd that a menu that was not in effect would be displayed.
