I cannot recommend Moana Lani enough for your stay on Maui!! I stayed in 7 different places during my trip, including glitzy hotels & other AirBnBs (long story haha), and this was my favorite. It is a beautiful, well-kept home with every possible amenity you could ever imagine - a great location walking distance to Lahaina, Mala Pier, and more, beautiful, freshly-made breakfasts served on the lovely patio at the time most convenient for you, kitchen, snacks, coffee maker, etc, for any other time, a backyard full of bikes and paddleboards and surfboards (including equipment to attach them to your car with assistance from your lovely hosts) and hammocks and beach chairs and umbrellas and all sorts of other goodies, clean, lovely rooms with en-suite bathrooms, A/C, mini-fridges, and bathroom amenities, wonderful, friendly hosts who can offer great conversation & plenty of local tips, and who are always available and communicative, and so much more. I would check with the hosts about the wifi in advance if you need to do a significant amount of work from there; it didn't seem to be working particularly well while I was there, but it was probably a temporary issue that I didn't ask about since I opted to stay offline & enjoy my time outside anyway. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and hope to be able to do so in the future! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely space, Gwen...
Read moreI stayed for a full week at this wonderful bed and breakfast - Gwen and Christian were very accommodating, quick to respond, and very welcoming. As first timers in Maui, they had a detailed book of their recommendations and pointers for whenever we had questions. Very short drive (0.5 miles) in either direction for a small local beach or one of the bigger Ka'anapali beach resorts. If you're looking for a pure relaxing vacation, you can spend time at a resort. If you're looking to explore Maui and what it has to offer, this bed and breakfast is the way to go. You get to save on at least one meal - offered @8am daily (this may be a little late if you do a lot of early morning excursions) but I utilized their snorkeling gear, beach chairs, towels, equipment, water shoes, boogie boards. They also had paddleboards if you wanted. Whatever you craved, it was there for us. They have a stock of leftover donations from previous guests of sunscreen, bug repellent, etc. just in case you run out of your own. Parking is no issue either. 100% recommend this place to stay and on my return I would hope there is a room available for me...
Read moreLet me start by saying that we have been to Maui a few times, but this experience was so amazing I have to write my very first review on tripadvisor.||This B&B had the perfect combination of features to make the most of our Maui vacation. Our room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring all of Maui, but with excellent beaches just down the street (we loved Baby Beach) you may not get too far! The hosts, Christian and Gwen, were exactly like the island itself - warm, welcoming, and relaxed. They were very helpful and accommodating helping us spend more time on vacation and less time and money renting paddle boards, snorkel equipment, etc The breakfast was very good and we loved the happy hour drinks they provided. They made every evening a perfect time to sit on the 2nd story deck and enjoy the sunset and ocean views with a homemade Mai-Tai! ||I think the best thing I can say about the Maona Lani B&B is that we are definitely going back to Maui. When we do, we are staying at this B&B, if a room isn't available then we will change our travel dates until one is...
