The only good thing about this Hotel is the location. I recently booked a 5 night stay and on the day before, I was called and said the card declined. No biggie, I gave them the card number again, they charged it for 82 dollars and I got on the plane heading to my destination. We arrived at the hotel and was told my booking was cancelled for non payment for 2 double beds. I told the woman at the front desk that they had already charged me. After 5 minutes she magically said everything was all good but they didn't have that room. Only one with a master bed. It is my wife, and our 3 kids traveling mind you. They gave us some worn out roll away bed that was so bad you could feel the metal springs through the mattress with your fingers. It was awful. They stated the next day we xould swap rooms but with 3 kids, and luggage we werent up for that. Fast forward to the next morning. Went to "breakfast" and all the bread was stale, the juice was sour, and the muffins were getting stale. Over the next 4 mornings nobody changed the juice, replenished the muffins, or the bread. We also were able to watch cocroaches run along the floor near the food. We brought this up to the front desk employees and they did nothing. It wasn't until the 6th day as we are leaving I watched them change the orange juice. We asked for additional towels on day 3 and were told there was a shortage. Another guest upstairs heard us and brought down his extra.... We later saw the front desk employees out front in the drop off/ pickup buffing headlights on some minivan.. honestly, the price i was charged was for a double room, not a master bed. The food issues, and the charging my card and still canceling my appointment Is why I'm writing this review. I'll hopefully get some sort of compensation from either this location or corporate as this is not what hospitality consists of nor have I ever experienced a hotel stay...
Read moreBuckle up, buckaroos and prepare to read a lengthy message about how dope this place is and what I think about some past Reviews. The beds were extremely comfortable and I wish I could have taken it home with me. There was a choice between thick and thin pillows and let me tell you, I like my women like I like my pillows ya naw what I mean? Thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. Tv was great and had a wonderful picture and the WiFi was awesome. The room was so clean it puts my Mama's house to shame (Sorry, Mama). I appreciated that after 10:00pm the front doors were locked and only available to open for guests. Sorry, Crack head Jerry you ain't welcome after 10:00 bro. The staff was super friendly and I put them on my Christmas card list. I had read many reviews prior to staying here and to put it nicely.. Y'all be trippin'. any kind of 1 star review was weak in their explanation as to why their stay was so awful. Oh, the toilet wasnt tall enough for you, Karen? Well we might as well burn the whole hotel down to the ground. Oh, Kevin your Smoking room made your clothes smell like smoke? Gasp. These people who left these bad reviews broke their Petty button by viciously smashing it till the veins in their foreheads burst open and then have the audacity to complain about it being the Staffs fault. It was a lovely stay and I would stay here again and again and yall need to get nitpicking every little thing. If you found a dead Raccoon and needles in your bed I would understand the upset. But just because the soap wasn't organic goat butter that had aged for 3 years and had a shaman bless it in the holy land and Angels didn't come down and sing hymns to get you to sleep like you just oh so deserve doesn't mean leave a 1 star review. So in conclusion YOU chose to stay here and have the gall to complain about things out of the hotels control. Was a lovely stay and am very pleased would...
Read moreChecked in on a Sun- Wed stay. Got there Sunday night, no problems, but that didn't last long. Clean, fairly updated, but it did smell like cigarette smoke, especially at the entrance by the pool. Close to alot of food and not far from anything we wanted to do. We were mostly satisfied, except all exercise equipment was broken, and there were only 3 pieces of equipment at that. On Monday, we get a call that they needed to switch out furniture in the room. Assuming it was the chair, we agreed. We were out all day to return to our room door being propped open and workers and staff in and out. It was chaotic to say the least, not to mention, everyone on the hall's doors were open with people in and out. Head boards and a large desk were gone from the room and our things moved. As I walked down the hall they were knocking on other guests' doors, amd one stated they couldn't come in because his wife was showering. It was ridiculous. We stayed that night and put the privacy card on the knob. The next day we ventured out, only to come back to find a housekeeper cleaning our room, with the door wide open again, new headboards, new entertainment center, no desk, and lamps and trash from behind the furniture all over the floor. We were LIVID. Went to the front and complained only received a refund for that night. The manager woman went around with us that the privacy sign wasn't on the door and she was the one that went in, yet it was on the door when we left and returned. We booked this in February. This is unacceptable for a business to function like this. We will never return to this hotel. As we left workers were still moving...
