I have tried, I really have. I have a love for cookout that goes back decades in North Carolina and late night runs for excellent burgers and milkshakes. I was thrilled with Cookout opening close to the ball field so after game meals could be purchased. What is better than a cookout milkshake and cajun fries after a fun game of baseball with your kiddos? Sadly, it has fallen so far down hill that we consider driving to Culver's now before visiting this location. Once is an anomaly, twice is a coincidence, three times and there is a problem. The last few burgers I have ordered from here have been small patties that barely qualify as a burger. I am not sure when the portion size changed, but it was noticeable. The fries have been soggy or missing seasoning after requested. Milkshakes are incorrect and orders have a 25% chance of being incorrect. The final straw was today when we ordered two milkshakes and one drink. Neither milkshake was mixed, with the double chocolate milkshake still having the chocolate sauce on top and majority of the shake looked like vanilla. When I pointed this out to the cashier, they just said, "There is chocolate in there," and just stared at me. That is when I decided to take what was given and have that be the last trip to this location. When Whataburger opens up down the street, I will not even hesitate to...
Read moreI am huge on respect and a satisfied customer experience. Wednesday early morning around 1 am I got to the drive thru only to be rushed after saying “one sec please”. So I said “one sec” in a firm tone. After I decided what to order a young man working the window responded, “one sec” in the same manner I did. Lol I can deal with it. A young lady switched out with the young man at the window. She was really sweet and took my order. Even had a good short conversation. The young man switched back to bring me my food and before I could say anything turned around and let the window close only to come back again with an attitude and say “you need something”. I said yes 2 ranch and he handed me them and walked away immediately. Keep in mind I was the only one in line so it’s not like they were busy. I pulled back through the drive thru to get 2 more ranch. Once again same young man answered with an attitude. Just sad. At the end of the day I don’t care how an employee feels or what they are dealing with. I just want my d*mn food in a timely manner with a little respect. Live 2 minutes from butler road cookout and will be driving to the Greenville...
Read moreReally nice place kind of like an old bellhop from like the 50s except you go up to get your food they don’t come out to give you your food in the car but it was pretty quick. It was extremely hot and it was done right all the manager I met the manager here, a really nice guy knew everything about the store and all the other stores in the area to very impressive. It was a good value for the money I didn’t like the milkshake. The milkshake was kind of like a soft serve with whole peaches in it, instead of chopped up peaches, but other than that it was hot I purchase it and drove probably like 5 miles and then ate it and it was still nice and hot fries were hot. It’s a good deal. The values there. I will definitely stop back again. Thanks guys. 00 the only thing I didn’t like was standing outside for my food. I would’ve much rather stood inside or have a canopy over that area because it was raining. I would’ve left and not ordered it. I wouldn’t stand out there in the rain for two for...
