Previous experience... Waffle House, SMH! Walked in at 11am Sunday morning. Every empty table had plates and glasses on them. The "restaurant" wasn't very busy with only half the tables taken. The waffle station had a mountain of dough all around the waffle irons. The bacon was burnt to a crisp, despite having asked limp bacon. Never have trusted the cleanliness of any one of these establishments. This just confirms my distaste. Ate there anyway and tipped the waitress well. But it'll be a cold day on the Sun, before I return.
Forgot about this review after waking one Sunday a year later. I had gone to other locations since then, so my general assessment of Waffle House had improved. This location is HORRID!!! Walked in to have a bite, but all 7 empty tables were dirty. All three waitresses were not busy working. They were too busy having a gossip session to acknowledge our presence. I, was the only customer waiting,. I patiently waited 15 minutes to be seated. Then I decided to snap a picture of the place for a constructive google review as I typically do. Boy was that a mistake. I overheard the fat waitress say, "he gÅn git killed, he takes a picture of me". Feeling threatened I politely walked out. When I got outside I took a picture of the store number on the door. The manager came out side yelling, "CORPORATE DON'T CARE, CALL EM!!!" He double flipped me the FU bird. And making GUN motions with his fingers and thumb in my direction. I filmed him and posted it to google reviews. The male manager with blonde hair is a rude, obnoxious asshat. I went in and sat at a dirty table as none were clean, he looked at me and said nothing. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come over, I'm not exaggerating. I was trying to be patient because they looked as though they'd just been slammed. There were 3 waitresses sitting at the counter working on their order tickets for the shift I guess.Finally I got up and walked over to the manager and asked if anyone was working the area I was sitting in. The manager, who had kept his back to me throughout me trying to talk to him, whips around and points out at the filthy tables and says gruffly for me to have a seat and give him a couple of minutes. I didn't appreciate his tone, so I snapped back I've given you 15. He rolls his eyes and in the most saccharine of tones says "Ohhhh well then I'm sooo sorry, I'll just drop everything for you!!! What can I get you, mam?!?" I said at this point nothing, you should adjust your attitude though. He goes "ohhhh ok, I'll jump right on that too!!! You have a nice day now!!" I then told him he was an ass and I left. I don't know how that idiot made it to manager but he's lucky I didn't have a glass of ice water because I'd have thrown it in his face to cool off that nasty, unprofessional temper of his. Went to THIS location on Sunday for breakfast and Lou Lou was amazing!!
Food my grits, 2 eggs over well and toast were perfect and I saw the waffle station - the gentleman on it was cranking them out like nobody's business and with a military precision. It was mesmerizing to watch him work.

Service Lou Lou was detail oriented, kind, fun and so thoughtful. She took such great care of every need and went above and beyond every offering a drink to go. She was even festively dressed in St Patrick's Day attire smiles
Location Great location in Mauldin near Simpsonville and Greenville but easily accessible to 385 via a quick trip and turn by Mauldin High or 85 of you go down Mauldin Road. As we went to comment on the great experience to the manager RoRo another patron commented that he comes from downtown Greenville every week so we agreed it's worth the drive!
Price Standard pricing for the WH experience and the food comes out hot and fast and tastes the same every time, so you know you'll always be happy
