Updated Review: We just had dinner today 4/29/23 and the food did not taste the same way that it did when we first visited this restaurant. The food seemed like it was frozen and not made fresh, especially their fried chicken breast in the chicken Parmesan. To top it off, there was a hair in my husband's food, and it definitely did not look like the kind from your head (if you know what I mean). That particular item was removed from our ticket, but the overall experience was just not good at all. They also offered for my husband to order anything he wanted off the menu, but at that point we had pretty much lost our appetites. They also were not nearly as accommodating as they were the first time we visited. Our waitress needs to learn to be more customer oriented. When we asked for extra lemon for our four waters, only one wedge was brought in one of the waters. The waitress even told us that the gyro meat was actually made there at the restaurant, but it is clearly some sort of processed blend of meats. They automatically included a card fee assuming we would pay with card, and I had to ask about the charge before it was removed. Sadly we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Former Review: My husband and I chose this lovely restaurant to have dinner. It was our first time trying it out. I had the Chicken Parm and he had Chicken Makedonikos. Both dishes came with a side salad. Their house dressing was quite tasty, but I think it should be chilled. The chicken and spaghetti were just the right amount of food for one person. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection (Al dente). Most places overcook spaghetti, but not this place. The chicken tasted good too and I like that it was a breast instead of tenderloin like other places generally serve. My husband's dish was on the smaller side. Although the chicken was very juicy and not overdone. The prices are a bit on the high side, but I enjoyed my dinner. Our waitress was nice, patient and answered all our questions to the best of her abilities. If in the area again, it's definitely a restaurant that I am willing to eat at. So if you are in the mood for some Italian or Greek dishes,...
Read moreAfter my experience this week I have deleted my 5 star and changing to a 1 star. I have eaten at this restaurant for 15 years and after this week will never set foot in this place again. I have eaten here many times and always loved the food and never had a bad experience until I went this week. I was a bit aggravated when I was told that my wife and I would have to pay $4.00 to split a sub even though we had both gotten salads as well. But I said ok even though this place is already priced a little higher than other restaurants but its always been worth it for food and service. What made me decide never to go back is while I was waiting to pay I watched the owner treat a female waitress very badly. He spoke to her in a manner that no woman should be spoken too and didn't really care since he did it in front of a customer. So I learned that day that the Owner is simply someone who only cares about the money and himself. And will not support someone who is willing to be little a woman like that simply because he didn't like the way she did something. If this had been my wife then she would have never set foot in this place again and I probably would have paid him a visit( I'm not a violent person) From what I understand it hasn't been that long since they raised prices so I'm hoping that people will realize how he is running his business and simply stop supporting this place. I wish had I known that I wouldn't set foot in there again and I would have...
Read moreOne star review, because I (mostly) received the items I ordered.
Let's start with the "appetizer," cause that's usually where you start.
The Garlic Bread with Meat Sauce If you are into microwaved bread that tastes like the carby equivalent of La Croix, then this bread is for you. A dab of garlic butter ensures that this tastes like it rode in a truck next to some garlic.
$5.50 for two slices btw. Two slices that don't include cheese. I didn't expect it to include cheese, but for the cost vs the amount you get it ought to. And to further demonstrate a lack of care for their food (and customers), the garlic bread came placed on the pizza. In the box.
There was no meat sauce.
Moving onto the main course, a Hawaiian pizza.
The bad: I've tasted more flavorful sauce of out a jar labeled Ragu. I'm fairly convinced this is where Hollywood gets all their pizzas for shooting, because these slices stuck out like they've been worshipping at the throne of Viagra. I wasn't aware that imitation mozzarella was a thing, apparently it is. The pineapple lacked flavor and had an odd texture. Like it's two days away from being bad.
The good: It was, in fact, a Hawaiian pizza.
Next time I'll order...
