The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful, but it was a little inconvenient because they were having an issue with room keys so every time we left our rooms, we had to be walked back and let in with a master key, so some people had to wait for a bit while only 2 staff members had to cover all the floors. The pillows were about the most uncomfortable pillows I've ever slept on in my life. The cleaning crew did not speak English which was frustrating for all of us because none of us speak Spanish and there was not a translator in sight. My kids and I were in town for my father's funeral and I was already frustrated enough as it was, then not being understood by a staff and not having a room key just made things worse. The channel selection was bad and you had to punch the remote buttons several times to get the the TV to change or the volume. The beds were comfortable but the "comforter" was as thin as a sheet, so with the AC on we were freezing, so we'd have to turn the temperature up, start sweating, then turn it down, then freeze again, and I hardly got any sleep during my 3 days there. Read moreOn Wednesday July 11. I checked in . During the early hour of around 4pm. While resting in the room with my fiance. A separate key was issued to a different person . That person was able to unlock the door. But because of top lock the door did not open completely. Had it opened . it would not of been good for the person whom I believe. Was attempting to rob us. When I confronted him at the front desk . The manager did all the talking. The man that attempted to break in. Had no luggage and said nothing. Only the manager. He proceeded to tell me there had been a mistake. I don't believe so. And the back door to this Hotel. Does not lock or shut complete. When I realized it was not a mistake. But an attempted burglary. Read there policy. Motel 6 will not b responsible for any loss of money,jewelry or any valuable. Read this before checking in. I believe I am one of the lucky ones. . also if you read the comments. A different person writes. I opened the door. And there was man in the bed she had just checked into. I have filed a complaint with Headquarters. I will no longer use this Hotel. Read moreI didn't like going in to the motel and two employees chilling out behind the desk while there was a big puddle of vomit at the entrance and trash overflowing. After reserving the room no refund cancellation advised elevator was out. Employee said we had got a cheap rate so no accommodation was given even though customers had to climb 2 flight of stairs. Also, no one was seen working on the elevator to get it working the day we were there. The stair well was filthy and trash on steps. No drawers in room. No refrigerator and microwave either. One of the fire sprinklers was protruding out from the ceiling and didn't look connected.
Once again, there is no working elevator, and based on reviews, it hasn’t been functional since November 2024. Even back then, guests reported serious issues: the floor numbers didn’t light up, and one reviewer said they were afraid to step inside due to how unreliable it was.
