Let me start off first by saying I requested an early check-in which I was told that I was more than likely be able to receive what they couldn't promise it! I guess that was a good thing because they weren't able to promise even the 3:00 check-in. I really had a problem with that. I wasn't offered any compensation for not being able to check in at the correct time. However, I had to pay for the time that I didn't even receive my family and I had to go down the street and have lunch while we waited for our rooms to get ready! Staff was not the friendliest not very welcoming rather melancholy đ I was offered a couple of snacks due to my Marriott status (Not much of a selection) I ended up just getting water. The hotel was clean Can you? Seems like they're always was a wait for the elevator because there was only one. Once I got to my room it was nice. However, it was a tad bit humid and it seemed to be a little cramped like the squished everything in there two when we notice I'm very small aunts all in the bathroom floor coming from a little crack. It was so interesting because there was no food or anything in there. We still don't know where it came from but they were like overtaking the bathroom and even more so on the used towels that we tossed in the bathtub. I got ready to check out the inform. The front desk and she was very nice. Nonchalant and not at all. Apologetic just stated very swiftly that I can compensate you some points. Not sure. Maybe it's just the Ohio thing? Or perhaps the staff didn't really like their job I'm almost certain at the staff other than the cleaning staff should not be in hospitality at all. Would that return to this hotel? It was cool for a quick regular weekend trip. However, you can expect much from the staff Not very accommodating and the line is getting so old. Everywhere you go about staffing problems and issues. I don't want to hear about the problem. I want to hear the solution and how you going to make it right. How you going to make it better because you're not giving me a discount because your staffing problems. So why should I have to be continuously reminded of them????đ¤đ¤¨ If you only have half of the staff that you require to run a facility, perhaps you should only book half of the hotel. Just...
   Read moreThe beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the room layout was pretty nice... but our experience was that not as much effort was being put in at this location anymore. Very oddly, the door handles only opened upward. It took us a minute outside of the door to figure that out at first and the front desk later indicated that they are all that way. The air conditioning made the room tolerable, but was pretty lackluster overall. We left it on 54 all night and it never got very cool. This might sound petty, but there was no guide for the TV stations or local places to eat like in a most other locations we've stayed. It's a small thing, but missing small things explains the larger. The TV was also a bit small for the room. The hot tub was out of commission while we were there as well, and the quality and permanence of the sign indicating that made it look like it had either been down for a while or that it was a regular thing.
Overall, price wise it was about the peak for the area from the hotels with indoor pools that we checked out. If it had been middle of the road it probably would have been ok, but there were other options for the money that we'd probably check out as options in the future. To be fair though, the room layout was pretty nice with a kitchen nook, living area, and sleeping section. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was done pretty well too. If you're looking for a decent night's sleep it wasn't a bad option. But for the money I'd expect a little more quality,...
   Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would, we came to check in the lady(very rude) checked us in told us about a 250 dollar hold when we got there, when we stated we knew nothing about the hold she said you should of read the fine print. well we didnât see that in the fine print than we asked for pizza places around that deliver to the hotel she gave us a big pile of pizza places, we asked if pool was open she said it was permanently shut down, we go to our room to walk in to first room to it was a complete mess sheets thrown all over the floor and clearly you could tell room wasnât cleaned. The lady gave us a second room. Wasnât dirty as the first one but wasnât the cleanest, bedding had stains all over it found French fries on the floor. We tried to order pizza only to find out only after the third pizza shop they would deliver to us the other two places would not come out to hotel. We just suffered thru the night got up to get a shower only to notice black mold in the bathroom all on the ceiling and all in the picture in the bathroom. After that we called holiday inn and booked a room. When we went to front counter to let the know two of the managers just walked away as we was trying to talk to them about the issues and the lady we was dealing with was very rude.
