First time customer overall experience 6/10. Brought my mom in for her birthday gel pedi and full set and got my self the same. Pedicure by Mack was good! She was thorough, friendly , and sweet . The ONLY person to speak and greet us. She made sure my mother and I felt comfortable and asked if we were okay or needed anything. 10/10 But thatâs all.
The vibe: 5/10 - Beautiful shop, lack customer friendliness. If you donât want people to speak to you, then youâll love it here. Only person to greet us was the lady that did our pedicure with a positive attitude.
Service: Receptionist 5/10- I called the day prior to the appointment. Not sure if he knows what active listening skills are because I didnât ask for my appointment to change. I was just trying to confirm two appointments they didnât even need to be at the same time. He kept reiterating that appointments can change I already knew I read the fingerprint. But Itâs not what I asked for. It all worked out, but when I was there he seemed very nonchalant and closed off. Not sure why he didnât make eye contact or say âhelloâ âthank youâ or âgoodbyeâ after we paid. I had two gift cards not sure if thatâs what changed him even more because he seemed a little irritated? Or thought we wouldnât tip?
Nail tech Bidhya 5/10- lâm not sure if she mumbles when she talks but Iâve heard her talk to other people and speak up. Thereâs only two words she said to me âwhat lengthâ and âwhat colorâ. There is no conversation or checking in on me during my service. EarPods in and she didnât even say goodbye when I left after giving her a $10 tip. Bidhya was the first I person saw & I spoke to when I arrived, and she didnât even greet me and mother just looked at me and mumbles ânameâ. She seems like she was in a rush to go to lunch.
Nail tech Mya 10/10 was great with my mother and did a great job on her nails. My mother loved the experience with my and Mack!
FYI* There are 2 confirmations needed. Your appointment time is only a ârequestâ until they confirm your booking and even then you have 3 hours prior to your appointment before they may change the time by 15 to 30 minutes without notice. Which I thought was weird but understand itâs for business needs. Also, keep in mind when booking you only have â1 hourâ to confirm your âThe day of your serviceâ or they will cancel or reschedule.
I personally will not be returning and would not recommend. But maybe itâs just the...
Read moreHello, I came in today with my cousin as soon as the doors opened, we did not have an appointment, so we wanted to get there early. As soon as we walked in we were treated with nasty tones by the receptionist and employees. They argued amongst each other on whether they would be able to do my full set. Then I was told by the nail tech they would be able to do it if I got a short set. This was my first nail experience. I was very excited, but was nervous because of the atmosphere. The woman who was doing my nails had an employee come by and remind her she had a 11:00 am appointment, she then responded by saying she would have to be late because I wanted nail art too, this made me feel unwanted and unwelcome. She didn'tâ talk to me at all, not even small conversations. She wasn't even able to communicate with me on moving my hands or fingers, but just yanked and jerked them to put them where she needed them. Again this is my first full set. I have had maniâs before , but never acrylics. This place does not advertise any prices within the shop nor was it discussed beforehand, however she did tell me how most of the stuff I was requesting would be extra. When I went to pay I handed him a $100 bill and the male receptionist said âok have a nice dayâ without giving me my change. I was just stunned by the whole experience and assumed he was keeping the remainder for the tip. At this point we just left and I didnât mention the change. After I was halfway through the parking lot, he yelled at me to see if I wanted my change. This was not a good experience and I will...
Read moreI loved coming here to get my nails done I just moved to Columbus and finally found a salon where I felt comfortable and got my nails done nicely. I had an appointment booked for a few days ago and unexpectedly got called into work. I can not be on my phone at work and while I was driving to work I got my confirmation text that says reply Y for confirmation and N for cancellation. I hit N because I had to cancel my appointment and when I got time at work I was going to call and reschedule. By the time I got done work the salon was closed and I couldnât call. I just tried to book an appointment online with the fabulous Miss Angel and it wonât let me make an appointment. Maybe donât send clients a âconfirmation textâ if youâre going to ignore them? đ food for thought.
Reply Back to the owner I first started out with a tech who no longer works for this salon and if I couldnât make my appointment she told me to shoot her a text, which I did. When you work in a management position where if someone calls off you have to go in and thatâs happened to me many times on my days off. I also have left reviews on Facebook and I always posted my nails on Instagram đ I also didnât get paid for coming in that day Iâm salary btw! So next time I will leave my team understaffed and I will explain to my boss our planes went out late because I had a nail appointment 𤣠Make sure you include in your reply the appointment in December, January,...
