The manager, Maurice at this Popeyes location is so UNFIT to be a manager and needs to be “replaced” immediately. He is unprofessional, hot- tempered, and displays poor communication/management skills. Plus, he does not appreciate customers, makes them feel unwelcome and do NOT know how to handle conflicts. All qualities that an effective manager must have. He does not understand nor care a ship will surely sink with an unfit captain, just as a poor restaurant manager with poor leadership skills will drive customers away and any food business into the ground.
I am referring to me purchasing some chicken meals that was rotten & uncooked with blood coming out. I showed my receipt and ask the manager for a refund or an opportunity to order something ELSE off the menu. He tells me NO. That I must get the same item. I asked why I cannot have something else, he response that’s how it is at Popeyes. I asked him what’s his name. I would like to contact corporate headquarters and find out about this policy. He rolls his eyes, does not give me his name, walks away and tells me that he does not care that I can contact corporate. So I pull out my iPhone and start recording the encounter. After getting nowhere, and trying to be patient for 20 mins, again I ask him what’s his name. He walks refuses to give me his name.
I ask the other two employees present, see pictures, can I please have the manager name, the black guys responds I am off the clock, so I have nothing to do with your issue. The spanish guy just ignores my concerns as a customer altogether. Now, tell me what kind of message does Maurice sends to his staff under him by behaving in this way. Clearly, customers does not matter and he does not know how to professional deal with conflicts and business issues as it arise. Maurice is the PERFECT example of poor management skills that will effect the bottom line and drive customers away. Get rid of Maurice and learn to throw OUT bad Chicken!!!Real leaders don’t t hide out in the back when customers have concerns with their food. Read moreYesterday evening or afternoon I stopped by to grab something because I was on my way to New York City and I asked the guy at the drive-through if there was any deals on tender yeah six dollars let me get back. I got it given my only $50 bill that I had in my pocket Because I wanted to use cash give it to him. Give me back my change about $35 and something cents put it on the side of my car because I was of course driving and today the next day after that go to a convenience store in New York City and I was accused of giving them fake money when I looked at the 20 it was a fake bill so they kept it and I have to pull out an extra $20. Of course I don’t have to proof but I want to call the location where this happens and this is the one on Allgate Lane right next to where I used to work for many years and I was a loyal customer of that store. The manager starts questioning me about if I was certain that I got that money there that she never had anything like that happen before to her. I said OK it is not about me getting the money back, but about informing you that it happened at your store she keeps questioning my integrity and telling me that she doesn’t believe me You know that at this point, they just lost a customer and they got a very bad review because you don’t treat your regular customers or any customer that actually passes to your store and comes for a matter to you treat them like they were criminals never stolen anything from anyone or any place in my life But this people have lost a customer and this is my review for this Popeyes...
Read moreI drove up to the drive thru window waited & repeatedly saying hello & no one responded at all! On my way to the last window I waited & a girl with a headset came over and said I had to drive my vehicle back around to take my order..I told her I was at the order window for a while with no response..She apparently turned over her shoulder and spoke to the manager and he told her not to take our order to make us drive around again..This place is not good with customer service being that they refused to take our order & were making us drive around again saying they were buy & not allowed to take orders at the payment window..We said we would wait although there was no one inside and clearly they were not busy at all..The manager was standing at a register looking at it & only looked over to say not to take our order unless we drove back around..I do not recommend this Popeye's to anyone..Hopefully the franchise owners will look into their store management, losing customers isn't good for business at all!
