Bahia - Sandestin — Hotel in Miramar Beach

We have been coming to the Destin area for 25+ years. Upon arrival the room was not clean....sheets had umm bodily fluids on them and hair. Lady came with new sheets that has to be laundered ...bed by 12:30...not off to a good start. Realized next day sand on chairs and just not clean....filthy table on patio. They cleaned our room again. No offer of apology or an kind of compensation...48 hours of not a good start. Finally we left And began to enjoy. Came back to horrific smell....like rotten smell. Two days in a row. Reported ....again not Bothered by it. Would not want anyone to come here and experience this. Management obviously...

We arrived after getting our codes for our vacation condo (7 hr drive on a motorcycle) only to find out that we were cancelled because they double booked the condo. They wouldn't make it right either offered us a more expensive condo at the higher rate. Would not recommend. Oh and the dont allow motorcycles on their property. So told us we would have to walk to the resort to figure out what was gonna happen with us. It would have been a 30 min walk!! Never will book here again. The place we did stay at Sterling Shores IV...

The unit I stayed in needs a major renovation but I rented directly through the owner not through the resort. Lesson learned. The resort itself is fantastic and well maintained. Most importantly, it employs some of the nicest and most hospitable individuals I have ever...
