I stayed at this hotel for almost a week and have had zero issues. The staff are very pleasant and inviting upon arrival mad throughout the stay. They all maintain a professional, and attentive demeanor when asked a question or for help with something. The property has been peaceful day and night and I feel safe. The surrounding area conveniently offers supermarkets to sports bars. There is a very affordable and satisfying breakfast place, in just a few minutes drive, called Pancakes R Us. I had a standard king bed room. The rooms are spotless and have very well kept furnishings and linens. It was good to find that the rooms include all of the basic amenities such as a microwave, fridge, table and chairs, blow dryer, iron, plenty of towels, and name brand toiletries. The bed is not too high, not too fluffy or firm, and in great condition. The room did not stink, there were no signs of pests, and the price was appropriate. Because this hotel is so well kept and well planned, I can see it never having a challenge with filling rooms. I would like to add a couple minor suggestions to help guarantee guests put it first on their list next time they're in town. Secondary deadbolts, for obvious reasons. Wifi upgrade because, lately it seems as though 99% of the hotels I stay in don't consider the quality of their wifi signal as a very high priority. The wifi signal here works and has an medium quality speed. If this hotel improved their wifi signal strength to assure guests a hassle free experience with the countless internet gadgets we use these days, they would have a significant promotional edge over hotels even $100 more per night. In my opinion, a strong internet signal alone should award any hotel an additional 1½ stars on their overall level. Lastly, I never get up early enough for the free continental breakfast, if there is one, but, it might be nice to just have a few basic food items in the rooms already instead of the office brown bag appointment that so many COVID cautious hotels do now. That's all I've got on this budget luxury hotel and it is a for sure recommendation from me,...
Read moreOur room was clean, and stocked with basic amenities: soap, towels, generic shampoo/conditioner. We didn't spend much time in there because we only needed it to sleep, so we don't have many complaints. The floor of the tub could have been a bit cleaner but we brought shower sandals so whatever. The bathroom floor can be slippery if wet, put down a towel before you step out of shower. I see alot of people saying there was roaches, but I didn't see any... We did check covers when we got there but they were clean too, the air conditioning works great. We stayed in a room with double beds for the 4 of us and it was not cramped, cosy sure. Theres a small table to sit at, and PLENTY of parking, if the asphalt slots run out you can park in the dirt lot connected to the place. Didnt use the pool but hey, there is one, if small. Let's see, check in/out was pretty easy. No surprise fees. 120 for 4 People? Pretty cheap considering it was during Insominaic's Escape Halloween music festival, and we didnt do the booking until 2 weeks before. (We like to live dangerously). All in all, it is a budget hotel. It's not the Hilton, but if you want a sparkling room with a buffet breakfast and fresh squeezed oj for breakfast, you're gonna have to fork over what that costs at one of the nice fancy hotels you cheapskates. This was...
Read moreI stayed here bc I was in town for work. There were homeless and drug addicts hanging around the pool area and all over the complex. After walking through all that I got to my 3 1/2 star room that clearly wasn't even close to that. More like a 1 star. It obviously wasn't cleaned good or probably not at all. After having a terrible nights sleep bc I didn't wanna sleep under the blanket. I got up and went to work. Later that evening at work I noticed a bug bite....then after about 30 mins I noticed about 10 more. Got off work went back to my room and pulled back the sheets and sure enough....bed bugs all over the mattress. I went to the office and they tried to give me another room but I just left out of fustration. I called them when I got back home to Dallas to complain that I had to throw away my suitcase and all my clothes bc I wasn't chancing getting bed bugs in my house. I asked for compensation for my losses bc clothes and luggage is not cheap. The response was to wash my things! I explained to them that that's beside the point and I didn't want to chance it bc bed bugs and decusting. He said he would have the manager call me Monday.....I travel for work and have stayed in alot of hotels and this was the worst I've ever stayed at. Please do not stay here unless you cool...
