Let me first start by the receptionist who was working on Saturday the 29 at 8:46pm. What ever problem she have that day was not good. She said i have to make a reservation online which i say ok let me do that then. Her attitude about first come first served and we don't take reservations over the phone.
Her pressure of saying u have to come and pay first when the reservation was already done. I was having dinner with friends and drinking. I have everything set up. And then here we fo again the receptionist calling me at 10: 48pm saying u have to come and pay and i tell her why i have the reservation done and she was again "First Come, First Served" so i told her charge my card there is no need for me to go and thats where she said u have until 12:30am to come and paid or i will give the room to someone else. So i wait more time and then leave to pay the room, i was almost there when i call again at 12:23am and the se receptionist answer amd i told her im almost there and she said i dont have any rooms any more i have to give room to someone else.
Soooo whats the point of making a reservation when the receptionist or who ever is in charge that day is not going to respect the reservation. I dont have any idea what was her problem with her attitude. I hope someone can do...
Read moreI recently had a booking at this Motel 6 through Hotels.com, and I am extremely disappointed by the way my reservation was handled. I had a confirmed booking under my name, but upon arrival, I was shocked to find out that my reservation had been cancelled by the property without any notice or explanation. I was never contacted beforehand to inform me of this issue, leaving me stranded without accommodation. The most likely reason was that they were able to sell my room to someone for a higher price and so cancelled my reservation, which is extremely unprofessional!
The hotel staff offered absolutely no solution. I had no choice but to scramble and find a last-minute booking at another hotel, which ended up costing me significantly more than my original reservation. I would expect much better service and professionalism, but this experience was a complete letdown. Not only the lack of communication, but just cancelling a customers confirmed booking for no reason should never happen.
Even though I haven't stayed at a Motel 6 before, it's safe to say that I will not be staying with them in the future at all. And I highly recommend avoiding this motel and brand unless you want to risk having your plans disrupted without...

My room was too far from wifi and 20min after checking in and trying wifi it didn’t work so when I asked for a room closer to wifi he said he needed to check my room Before I can switch rooms. When I said I’m with two children alone and I feel uncomfortable having a man in my room. He laughed at me. I said can we switch rooms and you can check the room once we are out. He said no he couldn’t switch room because he’s needs to make sure I didn’t use the toilet. I called customer support and they told me he sounds dangerous and that I should go somewhere safe. When calling customer service he refused to answer their calls in the front desk. Put them on hold and then told them he didn’t have any rooms for me. He did have a room when he was asking to join me and my kids in my room. As I waited on the phone with customer service he went upstairs and tried to enter my room with only my children inside knowing I was in the office. Luckily I had my kids securely lock the door.
