I live not far away from this bakery. Whenever you get the craving for Mexican pan dulce, this is a great place to come to. They have Conchitas, empanadas, puercitos, cookies, cakes, freshly baked bolillos, and mouth watering tortas. On occasion you will also fine freshlyade cinnamon rolls and even chocolate glazed donuts. Their refrigerator across from the bread is stocked with delicious gelatin desserts. This place is never open. And I mean absolutely never. I wish I was exaggerating. I live a block away and always pass by when it’s time to take my brother to school and they’re never open. Their schedule is inconsistent which makes them unreliable. Their bread is good but it’s hard to give them your business when they’re never open. This week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and now Friday has been closed. Makes me think it’s just a front for some other type...

The conchas here! 💜. They've ruined me for my local bakery. It was so perfectly made. Soft but still has firmess around the crust. It almost tasted like a donut in it's kind of crunchy crust to soft middle consistency. And cheaper to boot. I did go early early like 7am-ish on a weekend. They had green chile tamales, good too.
