Extremely Disappointing Experience ā Worst Service Ever!
I have NEVER had such a terrible experience in my life. I brought my nephew to celebrate his 17th birthday, and from the moment we walked in, our server (blonde hair, wearing purple glasses, and leaving her hair down ā which is not even compliant with health codes) made it clear she wanted us gone. We arrived for our 8 PM reservation, and the attitude she gave us was downright hostile.
Iām aware it was later in the evening on a weeknight, but this is the restaurant business, and we all know that sometimes you have to work with the late hours. The key is having the patience and professionalism to provide a great experience for your guests, no matter the time of day. This server clearly did not grasp that concept. Her behavior was completely unprofessional: she was rude to the older members of our group, wagged her finger at our young children, and showed zero patience for our larger party. We waited an absurd 40 minutes just for chips and salsa, and when the food finally arrived, there was no silverware. While she was taking our food order, once again hostile attitude.
As someone whoās been managing both high-end and low-end restaurants for 13 years, I was absolutely appalled by the level of sarcasm and disrespect she showed. It was the worst service Iāve ever received, and I wonāt be back. If you happen to get her as your server, do yourself a favor and ask for someone else immediately.
This experience was beyond...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNow why would anyone name their restaurant Tacos and Beer? Well, if you have lots of good beers and great tacos and Hispanic food it works just fine.
The menu doesn't look to extensive at first, but hiding there is almost anything you might want from a Mexican-styled food place. (There's a food truck parked out front so I figure that they take their food on the road at times other than winter.)
Their tacos are unique with three styles available, street ($3), regular ($5), and Martin's special($5 each for what is a tasty re=grilled taco with melted cheese, Umm!). There's a discount when you order more than one and specials and combos galore too. Although not on the menu, all of the parts of the combos can be ordered a-la-carte. You want burritos, chimichangas, nachos, enchiladas, etc.? They're all there at very reasonable prices. There's also a great salsa/condiments bar where you can dish up your choice of about 15 toppings from mild to super hot, from the regular to the surprising (an avocado creamy dressing).
But the place is noisy, really noisy. Even the waitron had problem hearing us. It wouldn't take much to drape some soft material baffles from the ceiling that would absorb some of the cacophony.
It's pretty crowded on weekend nights and even during the week. Get there early (between 4-6) for happy hour half-priced drinks and a less crowded place.
Really good and uniquely presented food at reasonable prices no matter what they...

I recently visited tacos and beer for the first time and had an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely deliciousāauthentic Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the guacamole was fresh and creamy, and the house margarita hit the spot!
What really stood out, though, was the amazing service from our server, Tori. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Tori took the time to explain the menu, offered fantastic suggestions, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Her warm personality and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience.
This place is a gem, and Tori made it even better. Iāll definitely be backāand Iāll be asking for her again....
