Culver’s — Restaurant in Montrose

We went to Montrose for sites and because Culver's will be in Grand Junction, CO on 24 1/2 soon wanted to try it. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Excellent. Meat was moist, they add mayo, lettuce and pickle. Never had a pickle on a chicken sandwich but it was really good! Hubby ordered a cheeseburger with the buttered bun which is standard and he enjoyed that. Sis ordered a crispy chicken which looked scrumptious and she said it was. I do not care for a burger with a buttered bun and I say this WITHOUT ever trying it so don't go by what I say. The other two loved it. Sis also ordered the pretzel things with cheese which I didn't like although I ate a couple. She loves them and a lot of people there were eating them so it's not the bites that are no good. It's my taste.

Now, Sis asked if I've ever had their frozen custard and I said no. She said 'you have to try it'. I said no. She said, 'its just like ice cream but better!'. ok ok. She got a mint with idk what mixed in and I was a wimp and got a vanilla cone. haha. Got to the car, took a lick of that frozen custard, and I think I saw the HEAVENS! OMG! I can't swear on here but words came outta my mouth cuz it was sooooooooooooooo good!!!!! I can not WAIT for Culvers to get to Grand Junction because I personally think there are no good ice cream...

First of all I would like to apologize to the girl that brought me my food, it was not her fail. I would think twice before going here if you need good food at a convenient time! The service is the worst in the whole town! I could have been served at a steakhouse or Denny's faster! I was a frequent customer at culver's. And I was introduced to Julie and her husband when they first came to our lovely town of Montrose. With that said in the last 2 months, the place has went downhill severely. Julie acts like she doesn't care anymore. There were 7 cars behind me. I ordered a bowl of soup and cheese curds. All seven cars were released before me. It took eighteen minutes for them to get me a bowl of soup! And when I called to Julie to bring it to her attention on how long it took to get my soup. She made me feel like I ordered the wrong thing at the wrong time. As if I was in the wrong for ordering soup at 415 pm. Aren't they a restaurant? Their service has always been bad! Today it was the worst ever. And if I had time I would have went in and spoke with Julie about her...

We were driving through Montrose, Colorado and I was so excited to see a Culver's. I used to eat at Culver's in San Antonio, Texas on a regular basis, but unfortunately there isn't one near my house in Houston.

This is my favorite fast food burger place ever. The beef is always fresh, never frozen so it's more like a really good hamburger shop burger instead of fast food. The crinkle cut fries were super hot and crisp. We arrived at the peak of lunch time, so the line was super long inside as well as the drive-thru, but service was very fast and friendly. We were going to take the food to go because there were no tables at first, but by the time our food came out, tables became available, so we dined in.

The dining area was very clean and even the restroom was nice and clean. I wanted to come back and dine here again on our return trip through Montrose, but my son decided to try a new place. I would have preferred Culver's because it is...
