This is a sorry excuse for a truck stop! First of all i parked my truck at the quality inn for my 34 hour reset and i came here to do my laundry since it all was dirty! I figured since i was gonna do laundry i would enjoy a beverage and i choose the jack daniels watermelon punch alcoholic malt not to get drunk or cause trouble but simply to pass time. The cashier named Michael sold me the alachol. I asked him if i could get cash back to do laundry. He stated there was no cash back but there was an atm at the door. I stated i had saw the atm at the door and will use it now but wanted to ask if they did cash back so i could avoid the $2.50 fee at the atm and he gave me an annoyed look. I got my money and returned to Michaels counter to retrieve change so i can do my laundry. Also as a side note they did not sell laundry soap 🙄. I went into the employee/driver lounge 🙄 to do my laundry and opened up a cold one that i just purchased! Finished that one and opened another and was sipping on that one when Michael came into the laundry room and started yelling at me to "Stop drinking alcohol or go outside" considering its the middle of winter and im doing my laundry and its 30° outside i wasn't having that! I told him i wasn't drinking at that point and i was doing laundry! He even threatened to 86 ban me! So then Michael left the room to do whatever he was doing and during that time i dug the cap out of the garbage and secured the bottle with the cap and put it in the 6 pack that was still on the table and Michael then again came into the room yelling at me that there was no drinking alcohol here. And i stated you sold me the alachol and knew i was gonna be doing laundry (still not drinking because i secured the drink and holstered it back into the 6 pack) and kindly asked him to leave me alone or i was gonna be calling law enforcement to de-escalate the situation and went back to playing on my phone waiting for my laundry to finish! He then yelled at me some more about the alachol so i called 911. Cops arrived and i gave them my id and the entire story and they then informed me of the local alachol laws and i told them i could put the alachol in my backpack! The cops de-escalated the situation and told Michael to leave me alone as i wasn't doing anything wrong at that time! Later i talked to the manager Heather and i made a formal complaint! I would avoid this place at all cost and just head to Ernies fuel stop truck stop or the loves truck stop rather than the half baked travel plaza! Earlier I went there to buy menthol rolling papers and was sold three boxes that ended up not being menthol like the store clerk said they should, but if not she told me I could bring them back to swap out for the right ones. So I drove across town to do that and when I got there and explained what I was told by the clerk before the manager looked at me like I was crazy an got hostal even though I told her I tried them and they weren't menthol and I wanted to exchange them like the clerk I bought them from earlier said I could do. So after about 15 minutes of that whole hostal reception I had to go threw just for rolling papers I finally got them swapt out for the right ones. So yea...

Always super clean! Nice employees who are helpful every time. Great refrigerated beverage selection including adult beverages. Also many choices of fountain drinks including iced tea, milkshakes and slushies. Huge selection of hot deli food and pizza! Super selection of every kind of snack you could possibly want including yummy soups. I haven't used the shower rooms but am sure they would be as tidy and clean as the rest of the facility!
