Baymont by Wyndham Budd Lake — Hotel in Mount Olive

I just got home from staying at this hotel. I must say after reviewing the reviews I was scared to death to stay here. But my cousin in-law asked me to just try it out. We came into this town for a family baby shower. I was greeted immediately once I arrived. It was so late & yet they had a nice sized King room available. I have OCD & I'm extremely picky, I went into my room & to my surprise it was clean. The bed frame was a lil bit dusty but nothing to be alarmed. I inspected the bed for bed bugs thank God nothing. Very clean, comfortable omg wish I could bring the bed home lol. Pillows were perfect. There was a sofa bed, internet worked just fine. FYI NO CONSTRUCTION everything clear. Staff very friendly. Both men had serious faces so they seemed intimidating at first but very friendly. So don't be fooled lol. Now we had a microwave, small fridge, cable, iron, hair blower everything worked. The only con which is very minor is the bathroom wall paper was peeling off & they could use some updating appliances in the bathroom. But very clean & breakfast was waffles, eggs and sausages, bagels, toast, Danish, yogurt, coffee & orange juice which was good. Just wish they had bacon I hate sausages. Booked at first for only 1 night due to being scared bcz of the reviews ended up staying the whole weekend. Def will book it again when we come down 4 of July. And price was really good stay you won't regret very quiet. I'm allergic to cigarette smell and thank God nothing of anything these reviews said. You will love...

WORST customer service of all time with the most RUDE people I've ever dealt with. We checked into a room specifically because it had what we were looking for, which was a king size bed and a pull out couch, but when trying to pull out the pull out couch, I noticed it was broken already. Not only would the couch not come out, but it would not go back in either, exposing a dirty metal corner of the bed along with its hinges. We had our daughter with us, which made us feel anxious about her safety for our entire stay. We called the front desk to report the problem, and they were unwilling to accommodate our request for a different room. We were told the manager was unavailable to speak to until the next morning. As we were putting our daughter to sleep later that night, the manager comes pounding on the door to take a look at the couch. Inappropriate much? Yeah. We told him we were putting our daughter to sleep and couldn't talk. The customer service made our stay the MOST inconvenient and stressful when we were just looking for a night away. The next morning we go talk to the manager and he said he wouldn't do anything. No discount, no free night...nothing. We were provided a room with a broken amenity and were exposed to unsafe room conditions because of it, and the refusal to provide us with any relief was just absurd! We called the corporate headquarters who also gave us a very difficult time with the same results. THIS HOTEL CHAIN DOES NOT CARE ABOUT...

first of all i checked in for work with a clc card thinking thats why i got what i got .... checked in around 5.00 pm rooms was still being cleaned ,get in room door bolt wouldn't work phone didnt work light by bed was missing screws and was very hard to turn on and off .called front desk 2 times before so called manager came to look at door 20 mins later door still didn't lock was told to just put latch on he would fix it in morning and also the light would be fixed heat was messed up also frooze the first night . after a long day at work came back door and light still not fixed started looking around room had cobwebs every where room was not very clean at all next morning called down to front desk to see why i couldn't get on internet manager gave me another password as mine had expired ...... when i asked him if they lost power in motel with the last storm he told me very rudely if i didnt like it there i could go somewhere else so the next morning i checked out also 2 nd floor smelled very bad of spices as the family was living on that floor and cooking never again stay away !!!!!!!!! from room 200 manager has very bad attitude!!!!!!!! the heat kept going on and off like every second something wrong with thermostat had to turn it up to 80 to even get it warm in room will be calling customer service for wyndham you can...
