We stayed there Dec 6 thru 14 , this hotel is in a good area was safe to walk around shops and food nearby. We had a rental car we only had to park on the street one time , there only around 15 spaces. One area inside lower level that's open to the street , plus one outdoor with a few more spaces also open . The hotel is very clean the staff friendly and helpful, bed was very comfortable lots of pillows good night sleep each day we were there , breakfast was hot and plentiful during my stay saw 2 lady's that attended the area each morning. One was great the other would not cover the scrambled eggs so they would dry out quickly. Only other issue was the door from lower level garage was left open 24 hrs a day this is a safety issue any one can walk in at any time . The room was very clean but no microwave in room . I would stay again

I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff was always available for help. The room was clean, accessible, and large. The breakfast was good and the coffee was as well. To my surprise the internet speed was excellent and I was able to have several video calls for work with zero issues. The location is perfect for the area and I was able to get around pretty easily. Super close to JFK airport too!

Very clean, and surprisingly quite updated. Looks like some rooms have carpet and some have laminate. There is on-site parking but it is minimal. Not sure about the other rooms, but mine did not come with a safe, so be prepared to get a lock box at the front desk if you have valuables. It's very close to the water, but don't expect ocean views or anything.

I booked originally through Expedia..manager was livid and ruId and refused to accept expedia gain..i was only allowed pay at their desk and price they chared 25 or more. I was evrn told no rooms until a friend called a they came to manager to let him know its discrimination. Then i was charged both my credit card and cash. Manager disrespected me..in front of other clients and family..he told me not once but 3 occasions he had no respect for women especially and looked at my bible and Christian magazine with disgusting face. At 3 am looked like manager attempt ed to get in my room i had my walker and oxygen tank by door..same man kept me in a so called non smoking room but smoke was all in my room. which caused my COPD to exacerbate, insisting i never paid bill he refused to take anyone in my family card i had to go in cold and receive western union which 118..never really needed..cause bill was paid by bank and myself cash..i paid manager 118 that evening after giving him money i collapsed..i ended up in FDNY Ambulance being put on ventilator all as I saw them staff maniger and cleaning girl in my room going through my belongings. As FDNY door open. .i saw them removed my belongings. ..my orthotics, leg foot AFO.brace, arm brace, upper knee and thigh brace, consentrator to breath at night o2 tanks..nebulizer and glucometer and BP wrist cuff..all my clothing, coat, boots special sneakers..my briefcase with entire family.💜 id..birth certificate s, ssi cards, death certificate of my family grandparents, their birth certificate. .from Poland england..my not be able to b rrplaced..medical records.and my important info 4 WTC .medication seizure liquid stile in bag just picked up...jewelry both costume and diamond necklace, engagement wedding band and 7 pairs earings.bracelet earing neckless set..but what hurts most is pictures of my babygirl..her box with her little hat booties tee shirt locket of hair, eulogy, taped, book of her hand and foot prints only few picture i had before and after she died that same birthday January 10th 1998. My tmobile phone, galaxy tablet, beats 4 both my son and grandson..gifts..money envelope for each of my family wallat s..cards..gift cards totaling close to 400 plus my grandkids clothes and toys totaling 500 or more. .my special My pillow. Com..manager treatened. me to charge me with tresspassing and stealing..until I pay a bill i don't owe..I called police the officer laughing cause I looked homeless ive been wear same pants top scarf 4 ovrr 3 days wanted me pay without getting my belongings and both refused to see my reciepts and bank statement. And officer then told he he wasn't a judge and began yelling at me like dead beat. The manager .he trashed my good name by stating I was a party girl..at my age unable to walk, breathe let along needing assistance. Manager has libled slandered and defamation of character and discriminated against me as a woman and a Christian. I've been back numbers of times to get my belongings, much is medical equipment i need to be able to walk and survive. I was out on streets literally cause my charger and wallet in my bag in room..i also had my bible with pictures of family members never could replace...never have I been so degraded. This is truly outrageous. If you truly make efforts to prevent conflicts, why were they allowed to have their party from 6 PM until 3 AM the next morning? What are the policies of your hotel? Is there no quiet hour? How do you enforce these policies? What allowed their party to continue until 3 AM despite your efforts? We paid to stay at the hotel for a vacation, not to suffer all of this. We were simply addressing the issue and standing up for our rights, but you accuse us of discrimination? Speaking of discrimination, it is you who are truly discriminatory. Because they were a big group that almost occupied an entire floor for a wedding, you dare not offend them because they paid more money. Since you allowed them to have 5-6 rooms on that floor for the wedding party, why were we assigned to a room in the middle of their rooms? Isn't it because we appear to be a vulnerable Asian couple, and you think we're easy to bully? They even knocked on the doors of the entire floor at 3 AM and talk very loudly. What did you do about it? Your so-called efforts were to make us pack our belongings and move to a basement room at 3 AM, or else threaten to call the police. That manager called the police because we were unhappy with her arrangement. Can you imagine how it feels to have to pack your belongings and move to a basement room at 3 AM because of another group’s noisy wedding party? She even used the threat of police involvement to intimidate us, saying that we could be expelled from the United States because of her calling the police. Isn't this blatant racial discrimination? We are the real victims, yet we are treated this way. Is this what you consider right? Is this selfish behavior of not considering others at 3 AM acceptable? Are we, as a vulnerable Asian couple, supposed to be bullied and discriminated against? This time, we will speak up and no longer remain silent. We will make sure everyone knows. Your hotel's shameful actions, disregarding the feelings of other customers and sacrificing the interests of ordinary small customers like us in favor of big clients,...

This was a good hotel, especially for the New York Metro area. The room was a really good size, was clean, and fully stocked with everything we would need. The housekeepers were very nice and worked very hard to satisfy their customers. On the first day, we got up a little late and a huge family of twelve had just wiped out the food bar. There was one staff member trying to keep it all stocked and clean, but she managed to get the food stocked again. We didn't leave hungry. The next day there was plenty of food when we got there, but we arrived right before the large family. There still was plenty left after the big group left, because the staff member anticipated them wiping out the food and had plenty to restock with. I thanked her for breakfast. She also kept everything very clean!

Lastly, though we were about a twenty minute walk from the subway, there were two bus stops in front of the hotel. We did walk a couple times, and the walk was pleasant. It gave us an opportunity to explore as well. There were some really good markets, shops, and restaurants in the area that were brightly lit, so we felt pretty safe walking at night. We also stopped at Bagel Boy when we got off the B4 bus to head towards the Q subway line, and the bagels were delicious! We took some home.

I would stay here again - just make sure you book the hotel well in advance and use your AAA card...
