I bought a bed for an aggregate sum of USD2,000.00. I paid it in full upfront. The salesperson, Jairo Jose Martinez-Jimenez, told me that they always deliver to the condominium where I live, Galaxy Towers. That he would take care of everything.
Much to my shock, I just received a notification 24 hours before they were to deliver, and no arrangements had been made to reserve the elevators.
I rushed to the store and another salesperson assisted me. His name is Felix. He gave me his cellphone number and we agreed to call each other the following day, while I would be at the office of Galaxy Tower to reserve the elevator. I called him from the office of Galaxy the following day and it was agreed that the bed would be delivered on 15 December, and I made the reservation for the elevator. It was agreed that Felix would arrange to email the Certificate of Insurance to Galaxy Tower, which is a precondition for the delivery.
Much to my disappointment, I received an urgent message from Galaxy Tower today, 14 December, informing me that the Certificate of Insurance had not been sent as promised by Felix.
I called Felix on his cellphone and he started yelling at me. He said that I should not be condescending and that the COI (Certificate of Insurance) had been mailed several days ago. He even claimed that he had sent me a copy thereof. When I asked him to re-send it to me, he did not even know my cellphone number. Nor could it dig it out of his records.
He sent me a copy of the email forwarding the COI sent to several recipients, including Galaxy Tower BUT NOT INCLUDING ME.
I had no way of knowing that the COI had been sent if I was never copied with their emails. I had every right to ask about this since I am the buyer, and the Galaxy Towers had informed me that they did not receive the COI.

Read moreWe went to Walmart in North Bergen and we decided to go in Mattress Firm in the same shopping center to look since our mattress is already ready for retirement. Luis and Jomo greeted us with open arms and when we told them “ we just looking today “ Luis answered “ perfect , let me help you look I promise I will not mind if you don’t purchase your bed today “ that alone was a relief and relaxed us , nothing worse than a pushy salesman . And help us he did , he asked all the right questions about our sleep habits and our sleep needs, our pains and aches and in general never rushed us or pushed us one way or another . Mattress Firm have 0% interest financing and that alone helped us with the decision to purchase the bed of our dreams ( Simmons extra firm Legend ) with and incredible adjustable base for much less than what I pay monthly for my cell phone .
By the way I didn’t know the amazing health benefits of sleeping in the zero gravity position, do your research and you will be surprised. Great place to find the right sleep , can’t wait to get our bed I’m sure we will be very happy , thanks Luis and Jomo for helping us to make a decision long overdue.
Don’t waste your time going anywhere else , the selection is super , the prices are great and the attention to detail these two gentlemen provide is impecable....
Read moreLast Friday my fiancee and I went in to check out the Black Friday deals and we were greeted by Jomo as we walked in. He was extremely helpful and a fun person to work with! He was very knowledgeable about their products and attentive to our preferences as we went along. We ended up purchasing a mattress and an adjustable base, with a really great discount! The customer service all around at this location is great. Our delivery is tomorrow and our building requires COI paperwork. When Jomo was out, another associate Kelvin was very helpful in ensuring everything went through in time! We look forward to a similar experience with the delivery from the warehouse and quality of the product.
Update: Delivery was seamless; the guys were great. We are loving the mattress and adjustable bed, so far. We never planned on getting this adjustable base, but it's made a big difference in our quality of sleep. I would recommend it to others. I'll make another comment about the customer service - the night before delivery, I had questions making sure our frame was set up correctly.
