This place used 2 b great, great staff excellent food and clean. Now the the staff looks like they wanna kill each other, rude and horrible attitudes, I mean dont get me wrong, some of the staff members are great but theres 1 woman in particular, she's white, not 2 b racist or nuttin, jus has the most stankest attitude, trust me look in 1st b4 u walk in, she's a real piece of work...but yea as many times as I went in at this location 2 eat, it's just not the same, it's not as busy as it was, dirty and jus plain cold, n I dont mean the temperature. There burgers now r dry or burnt, sloppy and the fries r soggy...when I used 2 go there habitually there was this staff member with a bun on his head, he was off the hook, funny, curtious and very professional. He made my experience there worth coming back 2 again and again. The way it looked he treated everyone that walked in special. Now that's service, o..and other than that guy making your burger, he used 2 take the orders cook the burger, put it together, make the fries and shake, and give it 2 u while hold a conversation with u all in the same time, amazing, I used 2 love watching him do it, because it is an open kitchen but other than the way he prepared it all, the product was just simply amazing. To bad that dudes not there anymore. They need 2 find him and bring him back so I can have an official...
Read moreNormally, Five Guys is quite reliably good at every location I have been to. Not this one. I ordered a burger on lettuce instead of a bun. This is a standard option on the menu, and not super specialized. I've order that in other locations without issue. The lettuce normally used is the largest leaves from a head of lettuce that (again) normally hold the burger and toppings quite well.
However, this location decided to use smaller leaves to make an open-faced bed for the burger. What's more - they did not fully wrap the burger. Rather they had the foil open-faced as well. And to make it even worse, they placed that open faced burger on a hodge podge bed of small lettuce leaves and one-sided foil face down. There was no way to retrieve the burger from the bag without a huge mess. This was a to go order, so there was no opportunity to fix this, as I didn't find this mess until I got to my destination. Quite frankly, I won't be going to that location again. I don't recommend anyone else does either. But, if you do, check your to go orders for messy surprises before you leave the location. They clearly don't care about customer...
Read moreGreat food if you're looking for a tasty burger and more fries than any one human should eat in a single sitting. Consistency in their product line up is why I visit here and other Five Guy restaurants around the state (Brick, Howell, Absecon,Toms River & others). Seriously overpriced hotdogs, I don't get why they need more than $2.00 for a single scrawny hotdog, especially when New Jerseyans have access to monster hotdogs twice as large for similar pricing at places like Windmill, Callahan's, Hirams, Rut's Hut and more. That said, the burgers, made to order with a wide variety of toppings are very, very good and worth the slower service time and higher prices you might find at Burger King, or McDonalds and certainly beat out their competitor Smashburgers in my opinion. Not that SB's burgers taste bad, but rather because of the ordering platform, awkward table service and non-traditional bun choices as your only choice. Five Guys is my go to option and should...
