I went for a four day getaway with my husband who made the arrangements. My only requirement was WiFi since I needed about 3 hours to finish a report. The lock on the bedroom door was busted. Looked like someone kicked the door in because part of the the door frame was was missing. The bathroom sink only has one handle which you can maneuver left or right to adjust the water temperature and it just came off in my hand!?!. We were tired, had already finished unpacking, and since somehow it still worked when the handle was placed on top and gently moved we didn't complain. My husband didn't want to deal with maintenance during our stay. I gave in because I came for the beach anyway and the sink worked fine in the kitchenette. There was no pamphlet or folder that usually contains the "Do Not Disturb" sign, wifi password, or maybe useful information and/or phone numbers we may need during our stay. We called for a "Do Not Disturb" sign. A woman answered and said it was there and it clearly was not. She said someone would bring it up but no one came. After our swim we stopped by to pick one up and was informed they had run out. She made a handwritten one with a marker and a piece of paper. On day three I decided to do my report online. Well that's when I realized I should have tried to get another room. The only way I could get wifi was if I sat no further than 3 feet from the window in the living room!! Even then it was for only a few minutes at a time! I called front desk and explained the WI-FI did not work. With an attitude in her tone her respose was "Other hotels don't even have WI-FI". I proceeded to tell her that I didn't care about other hotels and that was the primary reason I chose to stay there. She said she would ask her son to reset the router and have him come up to the room. I asked if there was a way they could compensate my stay somehow if they couldn't get it working and thats when she hung up the phone. No one ever came and it was never was fixed. I can honestly say that if she had been polite even if they couldn't get it working I most likely would never have written this review. But the front desk is very rude and doesn't care about customer service. If you don't need wifi, don't care about sink fallin apart or how you are spoken to by the person at the front desk then then please take advantage of the wonderful view.

Update: I understand you are trying to sell rooms but I only post honest reviews. Basic means you should have some form of what you advertise as basic Wi-Fi in some part of the suite. Not only was there no basic Wi-Fi but there was no Wi-Fi in the entire suite. Including the living room. It's dishonest advertisement. Unless you stuck your half your body out of living room window (I don't recommend doing this but I stuck my arms out of window to check this out trying 3 separate electronic devices) and even then it cut off every 2 minutes. This was just something I needed in my suite and even called in advance to confirm. So, if you don't need Wi-Fi, don't mind things broken down or rude front desk service then this will do. I understand not everyone needs internet or a sink in the bathroom with a handle that works. I just hope to help someone make a more informed decision before booking there stay. Thank you for helping my friends and I narrow down...

The location and views are FANTASTIC. I have been a customer EVERY year for 16 years. Unfortunately this year will be my last because of the horrific customer service. I wanted the advertised “Family Special “ that we get every year off season. Last year was disappointing 2020 but understandable that the pool and rides were closed due to Covid however we were hoping to be at least notified of the restrictions ahead of time but were not and still paid full price. So this year 2021 we decided to not reserve ahead of time and just pop in , just in case restrictions existed. Luckily rides & pool open and no masks woot! I dealt with 3 different staff members and guess that’s where confusion the occurred. Being a single mom on a budget I was clear I needed the “Family Special “ and the rate listed on their flyer and website $650 5 nights book between June 7-11 mid week. However I was charged $960.12. For someone who needs to be conscious of all my income this was devastating to me. I emailed and called hoping to correct the overage but was told I was wrong and misread the special. However I had asked Robert personally several times in person to assure me that I would not be charged over $650. These interaction were recorded as they took place in the main office. Yet a week after I left extra charges were added to my account. I would never try to get something for nothing. I simply tried to book the advertised special and stayed the dates specified on the brochure. I am heartbroken by the treatment and condescending attitude of the management. Our family tradition is ruined because of poor advertising and bad...

My family has stayed here a few years, unfortunately that has come to an end as of today. After a few days of calls back and forth trying to settle on a room and dates, we receive a slandering email that we've been flagged and can't stay there for leaving our room disgusting. Allow me to enlighten the public, during our last stay, toward the end, I reach on top of the closet to get the iPad for my child, upon pulling it down a pair of huge womens underwear with a horrific skid mark in topple down. I had clean folded clothes stacked up there aswell. Appalled I scoop them up in a bag and take them to the front office, where I'm met with an unfriendly woman. I explain what has just happened and ask if we'll be discounted for this disgusting inconvenience. I'm told no, they could be yours. Implying they are my wife who would never fit these underwear, or that we're scammers. My wife is also a Doctor so scamming for discounts isn't really on our radar. I left saying the minimal thing I could" hope you don't lose business over this. Followed immediately by my wife asking me not to leave a review, she likes the location. I with held this from everyone who should know but apparently today there's no longer need to do so. If it weren't such a waste of time and money a defamation of character lawsuit seems the right thing to do. Ps, my wife annoys me with how clean she prefers to leave a hotel room when we leave so the help doesn't have to work hard. Oh and we never received a y billing etc for this room we supposedly trashed. Good luck folks, enjoy the beach jus not...

Update: forgot to mention...there is an extra charge for credit card. If you owe a balance from your deposit BRING CASH, I think it was 6% fee for CC. It was the case with many shops on board walk as well. As far as motel type places go it was extremely clean and great location. But I would consider it motel not hotel or resort. Its right on the beach at start/end of boardwalk depending how you look at it. The rooms had fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. However as most hotels typically have single use coffee, they did not. So bring your own coffee. They did have gas grills to use as well as seating areas with beautiful views. Rooms say Ocean View, but Ocean View is really from the outside door of your room. 4th floor had the best view. They do have a laundry room with coin operated machines. Bring your own beach/pool towels. The pool water was actually warm for early June. The water from hot tub runs into waterfall in pool. So it was somewhat heated. Comfortable but not too cold/hot. They had 2 seating areas on 2nd and 4th floors. There is a public playground directly next to property. Highly suggest this place for families. The cleaning staff were extremely nice. I had loaded up on cans of lysol, but upon checking in I honestly felt the room was very very clean and didn't feel the need to spray a bottle of Lysol everywhere.

Best location, start of the boardwalk, a couple blocks from the fracture prune, Russos and the original hassels ice cream. The pool is nice and the upper observation deck is wonderful in the morning for sunrises. Firm beds if you like that, the smell of Lysol is overwhelming when you walk in to your room. Other than that it’s a great hotel, great location, great pool and great memories.

What a beautiful experience and a wonderful location. We were lucky to have a million dollar view. The room was amazing and the staff were amazing and attentive. The big seller for us is location. Perfect access to everything. The beach and boardwalk were only a few hundred feet away. We’re already looking forward to next year!! Extremely family friendly!!
