We have stayed at the Le Boot several times in the late 90s and early 2000s. Those stays went well without issue and the location was older (there have been renovations since then).||||So to present day. I take into account the pandemic has been a problem for many businesses related to hiring staff. The Le Boot has struggled the past few days having units ready by their 3 pm check-in. It might be better if they changed to 4 pm or you arrive later. We occupy three units, 201, 206 and 301. Keep in mind that the entire unit is not A/C equipped. There is a large A/C unit in the bedroom, but it really does nothing for the rest of the units. I should also note the units are privately owned and the Le Boot manages them. So you will find some units looking amazing and others just ok. Donât expect daily visits by the staff for fresh towels , trash removal and floor sweeping. We knew in advanced that the bed sheets were there for a week unless there was a problem then they would come in. We are actually t the Le Boot this week, 6/12-19, 2022.||||Our unit 206, is not fully renovated, but was ok and meets are basic needs. What I mean by that is donât base your expectations on the photo gallery. It meets are needs, we are simple easy going people. However, the refrigerator is a freezer. No matter the setting all of our food we brought is freezing in the refrigerator part of the unit. 3 dozen eggs frozen. Now, I can live with managing what I need to do in most food cases. However, losing the salad products was very frustrating. I reported this to the office and was told they would notify the unit owner and it is their responsibility to fix it. That does not addressed any of the food we lost due to freezing. The A/C unit works, but the compressor is extremely loud when it turns on and will most likely wake you during the night. Still an owner problem.||||My son is in 201 and they seem to be mostly happy. The mattresses are borderline needed replaced and they deal with the same A/C concerns related to the outer areas of the unit.||||301, the in-laws are using their mattresses must be replaced asap. Same A/C concerns.||||The outside is well taken care of and the pool is wonderful. All three grills are clean and in great shape as well as the picnic area to eat at.||||If the Le Boot could address the cleaning concerns (we have just taken it upon ourselves to take trash out and drop and ask for new towels) for check-in and daily serve as well as unit concerns and not rely on the owners, it would be a 4/5 star. To be honest, I booked with the âLe Bootâ and not the owner of the units and I feel they should be taking care of interior unit concerns, but I just donât see that happening.||||I should note that their was staff in-arguing that we have witnessed in the office and outside of units. The office incident related to bad mouthing other staff in front of guests and there was a foul mouth issue the children could hear at the pool that I had to address.||||Please understand that we are enjoying our vacation and working around concerns at the Le Boot. We have never been those people that let others ruin our time, we just need to find fixes.||||To end, we will not return to the Le Boot and are looking at other locations around Wildwood for next year because we all want to come back to Wildwood. I just feel it is important o share so you can make informed decisions. Our review is based on our units and what we have seen and had to do. I am sure there are wonderful reviews about other units, interactions with staff and the Le Boot. Please read these as well as you decide.||||The location right near the beach and boardwalk is why...

The location right near the beach and boardwalk is why...
Read moreThe staff is great. Both the front desk manager as well as the cleaning staff are all polite, friendly and good at their jobs. The pool is clean and the location could not be any better. ||||However, the room we stayed in, Room 106 is an absolute disgrace. It seems that the owner of this particular unit (Each room is owned separately and run by a property management company). ||||The room itself has 2 double beds and a pullout sofa. The mattresses are both old and hard as rocks and both are squeaky. The pullout is very old and the mattress appears to be extremely old and is very very thin. So much so, in fact, that the pullout was unusable. We could actually feel the metal underneath the mattress, so none of us could sleep on it. ||||So, two of us had to sleep on a very old, cheap sofa and an old recliner. Neither of which was comfortable. ||||Another issue was the room temperature. The bedroom was fine as there was an air conditioner but it wasnât strong enough to make its way through the unit. A kind owner of another unit, heard about our issue about mid way through the stay and got us a fan. That made a huge difference. ||||From speaking to other guests, their rooms were much nicer and had new furniture. Apparently, there are no standards at Le Boot from the property management to ensure that the rooms are in good condition. ||||I would ensure you ask before booking this place about the age and quality of the furniture if the room you are given. This is not a standard hotel with a standard set of features and quality for each room. It looks like the current owner of unit 106 doesnât care about the quality of the room of the guests stay. ||||We are less likely to book Le Boot for our next stay. We found the experience at another property much better. ||||I will be reaching out to the property management company to file a...
