First impressions are lasting impressions and the first impressions at the front desk upon checking in was the customer service is nice-nasty.
The next day, I noticed that my refrigerator wasn’t seemingly keeping my contents cold enough and I requested maintenance staff to check the fridge or replace it. That never happened and the front desk staff didn’t seem to care one way or another.
The CONSTANT slamming of the doors from other guests is extremely annoying, disturbing, nearly unbearable and makes it difficult to get any rest or sleep. I don’t think “quiet hours” even exists in this hotel 🤦🏽♀️. The foot traffic is constant and the guests (and the guest’s guests) seem to constantly stay on the move 😡 in this hotel!
The constant walkers/door slammers could easily be qualified to walk in the Special Olympics and win all kinds of awards and other prizes. Something is wrong when a person(s) can’t get somewhere and sit down and be still for a while (and sleep like normal human beings)…especially during these challenging economic times 🙄. It’s a terrible and concerning thing when (something) keeps people constantly on the move and constantly slamming doors. And it’s also nasty work!
Why even rent a hotel room if you’re going to constantly go OUTSIDE of the room, constantly SLAMMING the doors and constantly having absolutely no consideration for other guests and constantly disturbing other guests????!!!?!!??? This type of energy makes me wonder if the motivation is likely involving drugs or prostitution 🤔.
At any rate, I have been extremely sleep deprived and TIRED AF at my job (and even randomly falling asleep at work 😡 several times) because I haven’t been able to rest/sleep much at all during my stay at this hotel.
And reporting the disturbing noise issues to the front desk staff was a complete waste of my time because they didn’t seem to care and (to the best of my knowledge) they didn’t even bother to come check the area like they said they would. I don’t appreciate paying my hard earned money for this type of low quality service and feeling like I don’t matter as a...

My company put us up here for a couple of days. I checked in Sunday at 3 pm, go to my room.... all is good. Get up Monday and go to work, when I get back to my room that evening, my key card doesn't work.
The front desk said they showed my room #217 empty on the computer and they had no idea who was staying there, even though she scanned my ID at check in. So they moved me out. I checked in again and they put me next door in #215. I asked where my stuff was and she said it was all in a box!! They moved all my stuff out of #217!!
I was pissed! So I get up to my new room carrying my box of crap. Unpacked and I got to looking. The gallon jug of distilled water for my CPAP was missing, I bought chocolate donuts for breakfast... that was missing. Brand new bar of soap because their stuff sucks...gone. I had leftover Chinese food in the refrigerator... it's missing too. I ordered an extra chicken fried rice... it was missing too. This was supposed to be dinner that night!
So I walked down to the front desk and the lady said all that was gone. She didn't even care, like "oh well". They treated me like this whole ordeal was my fault! Their screw up actually cost me about $30 extra. That Chinese food alone was $25!! Plus the water and breakfast I had to buy again.
I'm not sure how this place has over a 4.0 rating. The sheets suck. No blankets. They don't even serve stale donuts and old orange juice downstairs for breakfast. Plus the younger lady that works evenings is as rude as they come. She has zero concept of customer service.

Read moreIf you think asking for a quiet room is just basic courtesy, think again. At this place, it’s treated like a paid upgrade. Just asking for some peace and quiet added a price tag to my stay.
When I called to confirm, the front desk told me that Booking.com had “assigned” me the worst queen room in the building - right next to the elevator, the loudest and most disruptive spot. She claimed only Booking.com could change it, which is completely false. Everyone knows it's the hotel that decides which room you get.
Here’s where the game becomes obvious: My booking was for a Monday - when motels usually have plenty of vacancies. Right after I called her, I checked Booking.com again for this same motel and saw that several queen rooms were still available at the same price for Monday. Nowhere on Booking.com does it say that you can pay extra for a queen room in a quieter location. The only higher prices were for larger beds, not for better placement in the building.
So don’t believe the line about “that’s the only queen room left.” That’s simply not true. No third-party booking site assigns specific rooms. That decision is made by the hotel itself. In my case, they clearly gave me the loudest room after reading my special request for a quiet one, just so they could upsell me a so-called “quieter room.” The front desk literally told me I would need to cancel and book directly through them, and then pay whatever price the manager decides.
This is not how professional hospitality works. I canceled my reservation and I won’t even consider this...
