Sleep Number — Hotel in Owensboro

Abysmal experience overall. The gentleman that helped us at the store was friendly enough but when we asked the difference between bed models other than price we were told 'they are basically all the same.'

We did pay for and order a bed during that visit. Delivery was scheduled. On the date delivery was set for we were told delivery and set up would be between 5-8pm. We had already moved out old bed to accommodate the new one. At 740pm that day I got a call saying they were running about an hour late but could still come at 9pm to deliver and set up our king size bed. At 9pm I got another call saying the same thing. The delivery person could not reschedule the delivery (had to be done by someone else) and so we asked him to please not delivery the bed at 10pm as that was very late, and bed setup takes about 2 hours!!

Nobody from sleep number called me after this, and the delivery was automatically rescheduled for 2 weeks later. Had I not called the store and asked to speak to the manager we would still be waiting for this bed!

Ultimately, I cancelled my order and opted to spend my $6K elsewhere. The customer service was very poor, particularly for the amount of money spent on the bed as well as $200 for delivery.

Greeted upon arrival at the store and we felt welcome. Spent almost 2 hours learning about their products. We weren't rushed and all of our questions were answered thoroughly and honestly. They were well organized and knowledgeable of their products. A good educational sales presentation. These people know and understand what customer centered service is and know how to be customer centered. Bobby and Darren are a winning sales duo. Nothing to do with this place. More to do with the product. glorified air mattress. dual zone is a relationship hassle, when you roll over to snuggle in you fall off cliff. Moving the unit is similar to a pool table or baby grand piano. If the different sides start to leak be ready for the "camping" experience where your "smartbed" becomes the same as memory foam on slate.
