Stopped by here on my way home around 12am to use the restroom since there were no other places open with a restroom. The employee was off sitting somewhere else and rudely asked if we needed something and I simply asked if they possibly had a restroom my sister and I could use since we had a 25 minute drive home. Instead of giving us a simple answer she rudely asked if we had a room key and we said no that we were just stopped to use the restroom and she had an attitude and said no that nobody is allowed to use the bathrooms unless we were staying there and had a key and continued to go off but I was not paying attention to what she said because I was very unhappy with how I was treated for asking a simple question. She also did not have a mask on which on the doors as you walk in says it is required and there were also 2 men in the lobby without a room key just sitting there without masks as well and one of them were asking very inappropriate questions and the employee did nothing about it and continued to go off about how we were not allowed to go back to the bathroom since we did not have a key. Would NOT reccomended staying here to anyone. I understand that you must have a key to use the restroom here now but I don't appreciate how rude she was AT ALL and the health violations she broke considering that we are in the middle of a serious...
Read moreOur family was here for a school sport event. The hotel and room was very clean. That was a huge plus. However, when arriving to the hotel there was not an employee at the front desk which made it a little difficult to know exactly where to check in. I had to read and follow signs instead of there being someone there to greet me. Although the hotel is only 3 floors, I do feel there should be more then 1 elevator for the guests. My biggest complaint would be noise. My family has stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this one was by far the nosiest. I understand when staying in a hotel it's impossible to have complete silence; however, we could hear every step the people above us was taking at night. Not to mention when people were walking the halls, you can easily hear the footsteps and their conversation without them intentionally being loud. Last but not least - watch out for the toilet! They are SO LOUD you can hear all hours of the night when the people above you, next to you, or across from you are flushing. I had high hopes for this hotel but we definitely won't be staying here again if we return...
Read moreHotel was nice. Clean and newer. What was disappointing was the service. Patty the assistant manager was extremely rude to my employees and charged them $20 for continental breakfast. She got very aggressive with them when she was confronted about the charge and said she usually charges $30-$40 for breakfast. This was ridiculous because that breakfast didn't even cost $5. She was very disrespectful to all of my employees and had an attitude the whole time. She got upset my employees were going over some work items in the lobby and told them they couldn't stay there long, and they needed to be quiet because people come into the lobby. I have never seen or heard of a hotel that would have issues with corporate personnel traveling for business to use their lobby to do some work. It's really sad to see the kind of treatment they received as guests who spent 2 nights in this hotel. We typically stay here when we are in Owensboro, but from now on one from our company will step foot in this hotel again due to the terrible...
