If I could give this place a negative rating it would most certainly be a NEGATIVE 5 star rating. I brought a dryer in to be diagnosed, which didn’t even happen. The tech just plugged it in and it worked just fine. The guy said to me that I needed to check my power supply. On my way out I told the lady that there was no charge since all he did was plug it in. The guy charged me $65 for plugging in the dryer and telling me to check my power supply. If there is anybody that thinks that this form of professional integrity is fine? Then I would say to them “check your moral compass!” Who that has knowledge of any particular subject does not wish to freely share the knowledge they possess? That’s what the guy said he was charging me for. Keep in mind that I brought the dryer in to them, I unloaded it and wheeled it in and set it down. All he literally did was plug the unit into the wall and it worked. Then he told me to check my power supply, to which I replied that I don’t have a circuit tester. Well in belief of the human spirit being good, I figured it to be a waste of my time for bringing in something that was fine. And giving them something to laugh about over a beer. But to charge me $65 for plugging in my appliance and for telling me that I needed to check my power supply? A total of maybe 2-3 minutes, and NO diagnostic was ran to which they charge $65 for. That’s when they take their Fluke tester and go through the circuits testing them to narrow down the problem then zero in on the issue specifically. That in my opinion absolutely constitutes just reason for the charge, but not plugging in a unit for less than a minute and for offering a suggestion to resolve a possible problem. Which I may add, they have no part in fixing. These are the facts of my experience with this business, you decide what you want to do with it. For me? I will never again call on this company nor deal with them in any other kind of way if I can help it. If they are willing to do this kind of thing with their customers, what else are they willing to do? Integrity! It means a lot and speaks volumes to the type of character they are and it tells me they are willing to do whatever they need to in order to soak you for your money and say how good you got it for dealing with them. I was in need of a freezer since mine went out after losing power at my house for 3 days I had a lot of meat and vegetables in my old freezer so I came to Purchase Appliance where I have bought a washing machine before and bought a new Coservator freezer and asked the lady how long should it take before it was ready for meat she said 24 hrs and if in 48 hrs it doesn't work bring it back so in 48hrs it didn't work I brought it back and asked for my money back and the guy told me no refund but could get store credit so we unloaded freezer plugged it in and 1 minute later they said compressor was running and he put his hand in and touched the walls and said it was working I felt it and said it wasn't it was the same temp as when I loaded it he said " Whats my complaint" I was outraged and said my complaint was my power has been out, my food is going bad I came here bought a new freezer took it home unloaded it it doesn't work load it back up 2 days later come to you and you call me a liar he replied why didn't you call I said I was told to bring it back he said I just wanted to rent it for a couple of days Ai was enraged told him to load it back up and 4 days later it still doesn't work the lady at the desk and the guys who loaded it were very nice but the tall bald guy with glasses has no business dealing with public I spent over $1000 to find out this place...

We needed a repairman to come take a look at our front loader washer. I started calling all of our local (Paducah area) appliance repair companies and Purchase Appliances was the only one that answered! They are so nice and friendly, they genuinely care and work with you which is just amazing! Repairman came next day to install the part and the charges were super reasonable / affordable. They couldn't fix the washer's issue but came and picked it up for free so I wouldn't have to pay haul away fee for new washer I ordered from Lowe's.
