Took my girlfriend and I here to spoil ourselves, and they did not disappoint! From the time we got there and checked in to our hotel, we were treated like honored guests. The couples massage was absolutely incredible for both of us, the changing rooms were incredible well maintained and cleaned regularly. And the champagne while we waited for our facials was a wonderful touch. (Speaking of which, thank you Erica for being such an amazing human being!)
Speaking of facials, they did a fantastic job with them and my nose never felt clearer! I've always struggled for YEARS with blackheads, and they managed to get rid of them all in less than an hour! Micheal who helped me locate my locker and showed me how to use it was also terrific, its great to see how respectful and professional your employees are and I hope you find more like him and Erica.
The manicures/pedicures were insanely relaxing. And I seriously enjoyed getting to sit next to my gf and talk with the employees like friends and just relax while our worries with filed away. We were very surprised when they offered 2 nail polishes to my partner after we were done. Seriously love these kinds of unknown surprises and could not have been more happy to see the smile it brought her. Thank you!
The hotel room was incredibly clean, tidy, and well setup and the same goes for the bathroom. The shower was impressive and had great water pressure. The bathroom mirror had a freaking TV in it, and I have no words for what kind of luxury that is, but I want one now! 😂 Along with this, while we were gone getting pampered at the spa, we found some gourmet chocolates on the counter in our room when we returned and they were absolutely delicious! I particularly loved the Florida orange flavored one.
Once we were done with the spa for the day, we went to the Seafood Bar on site. The food there is nothing short of INCREDIBLE! Between the blue crab nachos, and the seafood linguine, it was nothing short of perfect! Our only small issue for the dinner was the first cucumber martini was a bit too much martini and not so much cucumber. However, this was solved swiftly and replaced with a more desirable drink.
End of story, if you want to properly spoil your significant other, friend, family member, or just simply have a selfish pleasure to yourself. This place is PERFECT for that. We will be coming back here for anniversaries and birthdays...
Read moreThe resort is beautiful. My masseuse was great and we frequently visit The Breakers. However, my issue was the poor communication and unwillingness to accept their mistake. I went onsite Tuesday February 2nd and booked a couples massage for the following day. We were scheduled at 12. As my wife and I waited to celebrate our anniversary together, Alaina Wedgworth (who looked like the manager) came out and told us “it seems like there was a miscommunication and you booked the wrong massage.” That made no sense!!! First of all we booked a couples massage. Secondly, YOU the Spa made the mistake. Alaina kept referring that we made the mistake. Very poor customer service!! Not willing to accept their mistake. After that, they told to wait until 12:30 to try to find another room or suite. We waited 30 minutes and then Alaina again said: we only have a slot open for 4:30 pm. We decided to just split up and do individual massages. We regularly go to Spas and this spa does not accommodate their guests. They didn’t even provide a discount for their mistake and making us wait. I was embarrassed and very upset! Could not enjoy our anniversary with my...
Read moreThe Breakers has become very disrespectful of guests wishing to visit the spa, pool , restaurants, cabana's etc. We parked...went to set a spa date for the next week. We were immediately interrogated and told we weren't allowed to walk to the spa. We explained we had done this before. They said we just hadn't been caught an said we could try. We walked to the spa and were quickly told things had changed and could no longer use those facilities. So we left 10 minutes after parking. We went to get our car and had to pay $30 for parking. No one had mentioned $30 when we told them we were only going to check in about the spa. I always thought it was dull and full of rude people spending Grandma and Grandpa's money but had great access to outdoor activities and restaurants. The hotel is dated and is used to for those to thumb there nose at commoners. The joke is there are alternatives offering similar services close by. Now we enjoy updated amenities beautifully maintained and reasonably priced. It's nice not to have to have Thurston Howell and Lovey, Judge Smails and Spalding hanging around. Let them eat cake or $100 brunches that Red Lobster...
