Elegance at a Premium: A Thoughtful Reflection on Trevini Ristorante

My recent lunch at Trevini Ristorante in Palm Beach was a journey through the heights of Italian culinary elegance, with the restaurant's ambiance and service encapsulating the essence of high-end dining. The lunch special, featuring a delicately prepared cod, and the crab salad appetizer showcased the kitchen's prowess in elevating simple ingredients to sophisticated heights.

Trevini's approach to Italian cuisine is a testament to the art of using high-quality, simple ingredients to craft dishes that speak volumes. The meticulous presentation and the flavors were impressive, albeit at a premium. The experience prompts reflection on the value proposition of high-end dining; the menu prices, such as a $30 Angle Hair Bolognese, highlight a commitment to quality and experience over mere sustenance.

While the service and finishes at Trevini are indeed top-tier, echoing the luxe dining scene of Palm Beach, my overall experience was good, though tempered by the price point for the dishes served. The cost, while reflective of the restaurant's upscale setting and service, seemed a step ahead of the culinary experience provided.

In the spirit of fairness and recognition of the restaurant's evident dedication to providing a high-end dining experience, I lean towards a four-star rating. However, acknowledging the effort and quality that Trevini Ristorante brings to the table, I am inclined to round up to five stars. This establishment is for those who seek the ambiance and service that define upscale dining, with the understanding that such experiences come at a premium.

Trevini Ristorante remains a noteworthy choice for Italian cuisine aficionados in Palm Beach, offering a sophisticated dining experience that celebrates the purity and simplicity of its ingredients, albeit with a price tag that merits...

I called this restaurant at 3:44PM today. Spoke to someone and asked if they had a reservation for tonight for 2 people. The guy who answered said, hold on let me check. He came back to the phone and said, what time would you like. I said 8:30 or 9 if possible, he said, yes we have 8:30. I said okay great. He asked for my last name, i literally spelled it out for him and he said, see you later tonight. We drove 45 minutes to the restaurant. We are told by valet, the restaurant asked me to let people know that they have a total buy out tonight. We said oh no we have an 8:30 reservation. The man that we spoke to at the front argued with us that they didn’t make any reservations, there was no way we had a reservation. That he was the one answering 90% of the phone calls today and they had this buy out for 2 months prior. He said are you sure you called this restaurant? WOWOWOOWOWOW. No I’m not crazy, I have the phone call in my phone to this exact number. The man said “Trevini” when he answered and again I literally spelled out my last name when I made the res for 8:30PM tonight......and instead of offering to make another reservation for a different night and maybe even buying us a round of drinks, they decided to argue with us that there was no way this is possible. Thanks for ruining a new moms first night out after having a baby during a...

The place is Palm Beach popping inside and out. My reviews usually focus on food, but I'll start with service. Hostesses were absolutely clueless. No real system to monitor reservations and table availability. Requested inside round table for 6 at 7:45pm, got outside square table at 8:45. No big deal. While waiting, went to the bar for a drink. Asked what type of gin they have, got a snarl and a look and a finger point to 3 bottles of nothing special. Ultra high-end restaurant with no high-end gin? Strange. Sat down at our table. 10 minutes later, waiter comes over and practically throws the menus in our laps. We were mid conversation, no "excuse me" or "would you like to hear the specials". Just starts talking over us. When we asked for a few minutes, he stormed off, and eventually another waiter took his place (replacement waiter did a fine job). Food was solid including pasta e fagioli, branzino, dover sole, salmon tartare. And oh, suddenly they had Hendricks when requested at the table. We ordered a pesto gnocchi for the table...who doesn't love gnocchi? It never showed up and when we inquired after the meal, the waiter casually told us they had run out. Is the atmosphere and food solid? Absolutely. But when you present yourself as an exceptional dining experience, and you fall far short, I don't need to...

We went there for Easter lunch and it was a horrible decision As a Restaurant GM, I am more then willing to overlook small issues.. I ordered the Chicken Francese As soon as it was delivered I was turned off It looked like someone had thrown it onto the plate.. It was so over battered and rubbery and at best, everything was cold Noone, not the "Manager" or any server checked on us until we were all finished.. I ate 2 bites and pushed the plate away.. We had to consistently find someone if we wanted drinks or extra napkins etc.. The table was NEVER cleared off our sugar packets, butter or anything else from the start of the meal.. We just moved things around during the meal We ordered coffee and dessert.. We never got the coffee??? I ordered for $15 the Frutti di Bosco con Zabaglione Freddo | Mixed Berries, Chilled Zabaglione(see pictures) A pile of warm fruit thrown into a bowl and sauce dumped on top Looked and tasted disgusting!! Someone else ordered the Turtufo which looked like a professional baker had made it??? Over over over priced, untrained staff and just an awful experience..

This Italian jewel of a restaurant is situated in and around the Spanish-style courtyard of the Bradley Hotel in Palm Beach. My childhood friend and I spent a perfect lunch time there: the weather was glorious, and the food (and company) were peerless. We both started with a really nice, light salad of spring mix, grape-like San Marzano tomatoes, roasted red peppers in a light vinaigrette dressing. I had a seafood mousse-like stuffed cannelloni in a bechamel and light marinara sauce that was absolutely delicious. My friend had their eggplant parmagiana. She is an eggplant parmesan maven and declared this the best she has ever had. For dessert we both had their tiramisu. I happen to be the tiramisu maven, and this one ranked pretty high. And this was all part of a prix fixe lunch menu, which is a reasonable $25+ for lunch; they also serve a la carte, but I recommend the prix fixe. Lovely, elegant place to dine, lunch or dinner.
