I have stayed in this hotel SEVERAL times over the last 2 years as my husband constantly works in the area. We visit for 2 or 3 days a few days ago in room 216. The people working at the front desk pre warned my husband that the pull out bed was broken and extremely difficult to open. This was okay by us. As we have stayed here previously on several occasions and were happy to be somewhere clean and familiar. The bed was very difficult to open I couldn't do it myself my husband had to do it and he broke a sweat doing so. It has been over 3 days since we have been there and my husband received a bank notification charging us for over 250$ AND also received an extremely rude email from the manager Katrina Vazquez stating we broke the pull out bed!! Blaming and insulting us saying our children did it. WE DO NOT LET OUR CHILDREN JUMP ON FURNITURE EVER!! THIS IS BEYOND INSULTING.
We brought our French bulldog as we always do and my husband told them during check in I was bringing him. The housekeeping staff were excited to see him he said! The typical pet fee at this facility is $15. However we were charged another $150 for bringing him! My children DO NOT jump on furniture my dog has a kennel that I always bring so no damage is ever done what so ever to any facility I bring him into because we are responsible respectful human beings. Before leaving I always strip the bedding, pull all towels, and put all garbage in bags and put everything by the door so when the housekeeping staff comes in they can do their job 10x easier and we always leave them a 20$ tip. I feel so disrespected, to be a repeat customer at this facility so many times and then to be burned so bad. The manager insulting me and my entire family that doesn't even have the courtesy to call before charging us DAYS after our stay!!! This is FRAUD ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE š Not to mention my husband's Company is one of their biggest corporate customers. My husband is the best natural gas line driller in the entire country doing large scale jobs worth Millions of dollars. We do well financially if me or any of my children or animals broke something we would pay for any damages and let them know before leaving. We will be contacting an attorney about this. Completely unacceptable. I absolutely LOVED this hotel before this.. I cannot believe this is how we are being treated after all the business we have given them. Last summer a time we stayed my son (2 years old at the time) rolled over while laying on the bed and his upper lip smacked directly into the corner of the night stand. They are EXTREMELY POINTY AND SHARP!! It gave him a large laceration bloody face and over 1 year later he still has a big scar on his face. I didn't make a fuss with the hotel (definitely could have ) but we liked this place a bunch back then and take precautions right away by putting pillows between the bed and sharp nightstands. This last time we were here a few days ago they had open scheduled pool times you may reserve for an hour for customers. We scheduled a time and during our hour noticed the pool water heater was broken. It was COLD! It didn't stop my 8 year old from making the best of it. 10 minutes before our hour was even finished other customers walked in with a staff member and said "Alright times up"! We grabbed our belongings and rushed out sopping wet and rushed. Obviously not sanitary for the family walking in. So, it probably wasn't for us. I let lots of things go and we are not high Maintenance fussy people. For the manager to email my husband, disrespect our entire family. Insult my moral ethics as a mother š” Like I would EVER let my children destroy property or run and jump rampant in a business UPDATE:: It took them 3 days to charge us for a "broken pull out bed" and several days after to get an email staying they were finally going to check the footage ... Its been well over a week!! Now we get an email saying you guys are tired of disrespectful guests that party and they have ruined it for the good ones. I hope you guys loose all your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stay at a ton of Choice Hotels because of my job. This one is a 2.5 star inn. Rooms are small but nicely appointed. 37" tv. Armoire, king bed, very small 3/4 split bath, an armchair, night stands and a desk. The climate control is quiet with a "constant on" feature so the fan will always run creating white noise. The rooms are "cleanish". The TV is dirty especially around the edges, there was a feminine products wrapper under the A/C and some sticky residue on the shower wall above the door. The rest of the room seemed clean.
Victoria at the desk is cheerful and friendly. She remembered me from my stay here last year. She immediately acknowledged that I was a rewards member and asked me about my travels. She did not offer an upgrade which is customary and I didn't ask. I was exhausted and wanted to rest. Room was 97 plus taxes for a standard single king. Priced right for this hotel in this area on a weekend.
Now for the not so good. In the morning, most of the Choice brand hotels I stay at offer a breakfast on the weekends with different hours. This is because people like to "Sleep Inn" on the weekends and because that is when you are likely to have families traveling. This place is 6-9 and I incorrectly assumed it would be 7-10 on the weekends. Not so. Regardless I showed up before 9 to claim my breakfast. The hostess didn't seem to want anything to do with the guests. They were out of hardboiled eggs, donuts, bacon, sausage etc. I asked for some bacon and was...wait for it..."denied". I scrounged up what I could the the remaining scrambled eggs (powered egg mix) and a yogurt and juice. In the next 10 minutes there were a steady stream of people coming into the breakfast room to eat and rather than stopping to help them find something out of the remaining food, she was literally pulling items off the counter right from under them and putting them away. This was disgusting customer service. Most of the people walked away with irritated looks on their faces but this didn't stop the hostess from putting things away and mumbling multiple times the words "you gotta be kidding me".
Overall impression: The hotel appears clean and maintained and offering the appearance of an "above average, lower middle class priced" hotel. However, the distraction from this image during breakfast has caused me to reconsider my options when staying in this area as there are other agreeable options for the same price. Fix the breakfast problems and treat the guests better and I may return.
07.14.17 Update. After I left last time the woman behind the desk called me on my cell phone and was genuinely interested in my thoughts. When I had checked out I told her it was not my best experience and left. This tine I was greeted kindly by the gentleman behind the desk. He provided some restaurant recommendations when asked. He did not offer me the property gift or points for being a diamond member nor a room upgrade. I asked him for a room upgrade. He said he had a suite but they could not offer it as an upgrade and had no other rooms to offer. This was a little disappointing since other hotels like Quality Inn have jumped on the new Choice Hotels policy aimed at providing their members better service and attention. As for the breakfast it was better. The eggs tasted better and were put in a crock pot which keeps them moist. They offered hash browns which ran out about the time I arrived and were never refilled. They had orange and cranberry juice. Surprisingly this is one of only a few properties without a juice machine. Donuts and pastries were offered as we're yogurt and waffles and such. An decent breakfast with some options. Due to some of these improvements I am raising my review from 2...

After a long day of travel or working in the area, Sleep Inn in Pasco, WA provides a very friendly, quiet, and comfortable place to unwind and get the much needed rest and relaxation that business travelers need so much. The location is very close to the Tri-Cities airport, but also in very close proximity to local shopping areas, many restaurants, pharmacies, and coffee shops.
The "real" eggs and crispy bacon available every day for breakfast, the ice cold and fresh orange juice to compliment the other breakfast items are a cut above the rest.
Most of all, I must recognize the EXCELLENT staff working at Sleep Inn in Pasco, WA. Whenever I'm coming in after many hours of flying or working/driving, the very kind and friendly welcome provided by Victoria makes all of the stresses and trials of the day disappear. VICTORIA is always ready to provide the maximum in customer satisfaction while also going the extra mile to make each and every stay great! She makes the guests at this hotel feel like they are all very special, and truly cares about our/their comfort and satisfaction. A very special THANK YOU to VICTORIA for always making my arrival to Sleep Inn a wonderful experience!
In summary, Sleep Inn in Pasco, WA is one of the best, high quality and reasonably priced hotels that I have the pleasure to stay in across the country. It's too bad that they cannot just "clone" this example and make is so that I can stay "here" no matter what city I happen to be working in that week! Great place! Great value! Great staff! Great stay!...
