Chopsticks China Bistro — Restaurant in Peachtree City

Been going here for 2 years but no more. Last few times were mediocre at best and after last visit I was totally done. I took a friend and I believe I had a Szechuan pork and my friend had scallops and shrimp. I think they were specials on the chalkboard. My meal was nothing more than dried out pork chunks in a dough same as when you order sweet and sour Pork. The bowl of rice was just a sticky mess. My dish had some kind of flavorless dark sauce over some vegetables with the pork. Dish was supposed to be spicy yet for second time ordering something spicy it was bland once again. Trip before they brought me out a little dish of some chili oil. I ordered some saki and my friend had water. Her meal was near tasteless. Update 8.12.2020 - still better than most Chinese restaurants, and I understand today's business climate is tough on restaurants because of covid-19 - but they have taken too many shortcuts lately. Vegetables not cut thru, fried rice is just steamed rice with a bit of soy sauce (not even mixed in well). Less chicken in Hunan Chicken. No longer 5 stars, but I'm dropping my rating to 4 stars. --- Food is always hot and well prepared, large portions and dinner, but I normally get the lunch specials to go. They are smaller but include an egg roll and cream cheese won ton. Excellent value and great food. Carry out is quick, I don't even order ahead, just walk in and it's usually only a 5 minute wait. As an avid traveler 🧳 and Atlanta native, I’ve searched for good Chinese cuisine for years. I ordered take out from here and was BLOWN AWAY! The food quality is AMAZING!

I ordered chicken egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and lo mein. The lo mein noodles had their own great flavor without the vegetables or adding a sauce.

For myself, I also ordered teriyaki chicken and veggies with chicken fried rice. The rice is not pictured because I devoured it before realizing I should do a review. I always say if a place can make a good rice, they can make everything else well. They proved me right! The rice is fantastic and oozing with herbs and seasoning.
