We stayed here. It's right by the airport and right off the interstate basically. The girl at the front desk was having a really busy night but she still managed to get my family two rooms next to each other. She was clearly overworked. It was a little ridiculous that they did not have anyone there to help her. She was so busy. There was a little problem with our reservation for some reason but it turned out ok with a bit of research by the girl. I can't really comment on the service because we had everything we needed in the rooms. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, the linens and blankets were actually exceptional, the bed itself was extremely comfortable, it was quiet, clean, plenty of clean towels, very comfy and cozy, had a desk table for a lap top, good lighting, etc. We were very pleased and had everything we needed except for a microwave. Two negative things. One, the bathroom door did not shut all the way. It would not latch. The latch is not lined up right with the hole. I've had this problem at other hotel rooms. I really don't understand what's so difficult about making the part of the door itself that has the latch actually match up with the part on the door jam that has the hole for the latch. This must be a Pennsylvania thing because this is the second high quality hotel in Pennsylvania where we've had this problem. Two, we had to park across the street at the Ruby Tuesday's. We were very tired so I did not push the issue or even ask why exactly. She was just so busy and there were plenty of other people that were there that needed assistance. Still, I don't understand that at all. They should have enough parking spaces for everybody in the hotel to have one car and then some extras spaces. Oh, if you do get to park in the parking lot there's a $10 a night parking fee. We did not have that because again, we had to park at Ruby Tuesday's. They were not doing any construction in the parking lot so I don't know what was up with that. We were not the only ones that had to park at Ruby Tuesday's. I didn't make a big deal because I know we were not going back out that night. Just FYI. Other than that it was a great...
Read moreThe location of this hotel is fantastic. Less than 10 minutes away from the airport. Not too far of a drive from tourist spots.
Our room experience was a different situation. The latch on the door of the hotel room was broken. So there was no way to have that extra security of locking our door. Then on the day after I check in while I was getting ready there’s one knock and then an automatic entrance into the room by two of the hotel employees. We didn’t even get the chance to open the door to see who it was They just walked in. They were looking for a portable charger. Claiming that someone had called the front desk to report that it was in our hotel room. No one called the front desk And we also didn’t find or see a portable charger in our room when we checked in the night before. One of the employees said that she was not aware that guest had checked into this room yet and the other said that maybe they mistaken the room where the portable charger was. So then it made me think how well do they clean these rooms? How are they not going to know that we had arrived if we checked in with the front desk lady the night before? How safe is our stuff in the hotel rooms if they walk in after a quick knock ? It was a very uncomfortable and upsetting situation. Then as we walked out because we had an appointment to get to housekeeping, was across from our room and stopped me to asked me what it was that the other two employees wanted . I Explained to her that they knocked once and walked in right away and that they were looking for a portable charger stating that someone from called the front desk to report it found. The cleaning lady stated that they had no business going into our room like that and expressed that she was upset because that she too might get in trouble for it since she’s supposed to be the one going into our room for cleaning. So when I got the confirmation from the cleaning lady that these other two employees were not in the right, I got even more upset. I am not sure what the protocol is at this hotel about employees just walking into...
Read moreTitle: $18,500 Jewelry Stolen – Housekeeping Went Through Our Luggage and Hotel Covered It Up
Review:
This was the most horrifying hotel experience of our lives. We stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Philadelphia Airport, and on May 19, 2025, housekeeping stole a red jewelry box containing $18,500 of our family's ancestral jewelry from inside a closed black and blue bag in our room.
The day before, my mother had $100 and credit cards stolen from inside her wallet. At first we hoped she misplaced it—but after the jewelry theft, it became clear that housekeeping staff were going through our personal luggage. These items were not left out. They were inside closed bags and wallets. The credit cards were found to be used in close by stores.
To make matters worse, there is no safe in the room, leaving guests with no secure place to store valuables—especially dangerous when cleaning staff are entering and searching through belongings.
We filed a police report and opened Marriott Corporate Case #691212020. But the hotel staff lied repeatedly and then quietly closed the case without informing us.
They told us “there are no cameras on the property”—something Marriott Corporate later contradicted.
The front desk gave conflicting answers about whether the manager was on site.
They promised to investigate in person, then closed the case and ghosted us.
This hotel is unsafe, dishonest, and untrustworthy. We’ve received zero accountability, no help, and no explanation for a felony theft that occurred on their property.
Unless you want your luggage rummaged through and valuables stolen with no recourse, do not stay here. We are devastated...
