I’m writing this because I believe the owner or management team needs to be aware of how one of their employees treated me this morning. I stopped by NOOBAR at around 7 AM near Gate B7. I was hungry and ordered the breakfast fried rice to go, which came out to about $18. I understand airport pricing, so that wasn’t an issue—I just wanted a decent meal before my flight.

After getting my food, I realized I still had some time before boarding, so I sat at one of their tables to eat. The restaurant was mostly empty aside from a family of four, and plenty of tables were available. While I was quietly eating, an employee (I didn’t catch her name, but she had a visible eye condition—only mentioning this for identification purposes) approached me and rudely told me I needed to leave because my food was ordered ā€œto-go.ā€

Now, I could maybe understand this if the restaurant was packed or people were waiting for tables—but it wasn’t. The tone she used was completely unnecessary and left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I didn’t argue because I didn’t want to cause a scene, but it was frustrating and frankly, a little humiliating.

If the expectation is that to-go orders can’t be eaten at the table even when seats are clearly available, then that needs to be posted somewhere or explained nicely. A little courtesy goes a long way, especially when someone is just trying to enjoy a quick breakfast in peace before a flight.

I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior. Situations like this reflect poorly on the business and turn away...

I love Ramen. I love Pho. Maybe I'm spoiled by having awesome restaurants near me for both, with interesting combinations of toppings, flavors, and delicious broths. I've seen some wonderful variations at other places. I'm generally fond of most related dishes.

I was excited for something more interesting than a burrito at the airport. They only had one or two options that looked veg-friendly. They did have a vegetable based broth - which is awesome! But, it needs a lot of work.

The Ramen was food, a somewhat small portion, but more or less took care of my hunger.

That aside the flavor was pretty meh - the broth was almost flavorless, the carrots were completely raw and overwhelmed everything else, it seemed like kind of half hearted fast food Ramen that wasn't fully cooked and had only a few relatively boring toppings for full fine dining prices (granted, airport prices, but still disappointing for what it was).

Maybe I got unlucky and they could do better? But I would have kept looking for another dish from another venue in hind sight. I wish I could say it was amazing, but for half the price it would have still been disappointing.

The service was a little slow, but friendly.

The atmosphere was fine for being adjacent to an...

I wish I’d checked the other reviews before I ordered from this place!!!

I have no idea why this place has a dine in, you’re better off ordering takeout and eat at the table. I put in my order at 1:18pm, had to remind the waiter to atleast bring out the juice first @ 11:38pm (while she proceeded to serve other guests who came after me). Well, let’s just say I didn’t get that until 2:15pm after demanding to cancel my order. I understand the pricing because it’s in an airport but man does the food suck. Never have I seen a shredded pork in ramen noodles (it’s just not standard and it didn’t match the photo they had presented on the menu), the soup taste was disgusting. The sight of it was disheartening and with one taste…oh well, I had to switch it out for something else and they decided to retaliate by serving me with a take out bowl šŸ˜‚ instead of the usual ceramic bowl they were serving other guests with—very dismissive! I still cannot wrap my head around how they can messed up a simple ramen noodles soup....

I wish I could say it was amazing, but for half the price it would have still been disappointing. The service was a little slow, but friendly. The atmosphere was fine for being adjacent to an airport hallway.

We walked past this place, and decided to go in since I was craving ramen. I ordered the tonkatsu, with some Nigori sake. Noobar does have those annoying tablet-based ordering systems prevalent in some airports. Service was very good, the ramen was pretty good, and exceeded my expectations. I do think they overdid it with the seaweed, so I’d recommend asking for only a little bit. All-in-all, I’ll give it a 4/5. Note: I’m not comparing this to elite ramen houses I’ve been to; but rather to general airport food, and the restaurant’s ability to put out a decent product. Were this a dedicated ramen restaurant in the middle of a city, I’d probably give it a 2/5, but that’s not a fair scale.

I want to state that I totally understand that I am in an airport and that prices will be up there. But $13.79 for 3 little burnt Philly cheesesteak dumplings? Total bill was 3 items for $80 including tip. I guess I should’ve checked the reviews before ordering. The waitress there was nice but the interaction felt awkward especially paying through her tablet. The food in general was very mid. I wouldn’t recommend it.
