DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I booked a hotel stay at the Country Inn and suites for this weekend for a short trip. When presented with my room I was extremely disappointed and disgusted. Upon entering the room there were various stains and wet spots on the carpet as well as random strings which made the carpet appear as if it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Furthermore, there were blood and what appeared to be urine stains all over the mattress (which did not have a mattress protector on it) and hairs all in the bedding. We called the front desk staff and requested new sheets. The woman who came to replace the sheets was extremely rude and wouldn’t change the sheets until we gave evidence it was dirty and then was very argumentative about getting a new comforter and top sheet. I was disappointed to find out that she was the head supervisor of the cleaning staff due to the lack of professionalism that she showed. There were also bodily fluid stains all over the bottom of the bed as well as the chair and some brown stains on the curtains. We also found leftover feces in the toilet and more hairs and yellow liquid in the bathtub. I have attached photos of the most disgusting parts of the room. We were since moved to another room that was cleaner but we still found hair in the bed and in all of our towels. The next day we went downstairs to ask for some type of solution or reimbursement. We spoke to Rita Prasad, who was also extremely rude and not willing to understand any of our concerns. She also refused to let us speak to the manager and said only she would attempt to reach him but wouldn’t guarantee contact. We stood in the lobby waiting to hear back and she screamed at us to sit down. About five minutes later we were told that if we didn’t leave within the next twenty minutes they would be calling the COPS TO ESCORT US OUT!!! They then disabled our key access so we weren’t able to get any of our belongings out of the room. This is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had and would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all! Everyone we spoke to was so unbelievably rude and disrespectful. The only staff that we found enjoyable was a sweet man named Rich. Rich tried to help in ways that he was “allowed” but ultimately unable to make any amends due to the very controlling manager who doesn’t give any of the employees access to reimbursement. I would give this hotel zero stars if possible. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

During a recent trip, I had the opportunity to stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Florida. Booking the room was straightforward and affordable through a third-party site, which was convenient after traveling for about 12 hours and needing a place to rest. The hotel's location is a plus, with a nearby Walmart, fast food restaurants, and easy access to food delivery services. However, our experience upon arrival was less than ideal. Despite paying an extra $50 for early check-in (before 1:00 p.m.), we were initially placed in a room with a malfunctioning toilet. The hotel staff expected us to troubleshoot the issue ourselves, which was frustrating given the additional cost we had incurred for early access. After some hesitation, the staff reluctantly agreed to move us to a different room. Our new room, 210, was better situated, close to the front desk and an ice machine. While the hallway was clean and the room itself fairly nice, there were a few maintenance issues, including broken cabinetry. Given the cost of the room, I expected more attention to detail. On the positive side, the room had a nice view of the pool, which was both a blessing and a curse. While it was convenient to be close to the pool, the noise from outside was disruptive, especially after our long journey when we desperately needed some quiet rest. The walls were quite thin, and we could hear every sound from the hallway and the pool area, making it difficult to nap. Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects of the stay, several issues detracted from the experience. The noise levels and maintenance problems were significant downsides. My first impression was the stained couch when walking in the front doors. Management/corporate should get that changed out immediately. It's a confusing aesthetic in front of the would be nice fireplace. Pro - The man at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Other cons - I was put into a handicap room (unnecessarily) that looked like it hadn't been occupied in awhile. The telling signs were the dust on furniture and fixtures, the dirt build-up in the corners and tile grout, and the stained carpet that was in need of vacumming. The musty smell is likely from the old carpet holding the scent. I recently stayed in another Country Inn and Suites and it had a higher standard than this. I'm a firm believer that if you take care of your customers and staff FIRST, your business will thrive. You do a disservice to your customers for charging them for a room with a low standard of comfort and cleanliness. This has never been acceptable but especially post-pandemic, this has become an even bigger concern and public health issue. Management and corporate also does a disservice to their hotel staff by allowing the front desk employees to deal with issues that they do not have the authority to fix. The front desk employees cannot change out carpets or replace stained furniture. This not their responsibility. And yet, management and corporate allows them to deal with customer complaints and fails to address the easily fixable issues. If you would like to offer basic ammenities to keep this hotel affordable, great. But sacrificing cleanliness and comfortable rooms with fresh carpets, properly painted walls, and clean bathrooms (see pictures), is not an acceptable way to run a business.

I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE VISITING THIS HOTEL ! The way they treated me was hurtful, cruel and traumatizing...I rented out a Jacuzzi suite for two nights at this hotel . Initially it was supposed to be for a surprise party which the front desk were aware of . We only set up the decor so the room was not occupied for the first night because as I said it was for a surprise party and we needed time to set up prior. Their was only people there to set up the decorations. The next day comes and we’re ready to throw the surprise party. I then remembered that I did not do a bug check , I then pull back the bedsheets .While doing so I noticed they were covered in blood I posted a review a few days prior to this one posting the pictures of the bloodstain sheets. I reached out to front desk Concerning the issue .... Although I didn’t get the best service they insured me that they will try to do their best to help me and that they will get back to me concerning the issue so I stayed around.Later on that day I spoke to the manager which was a younger gentleman about mid 20’s early 30’s and he was very nonchalant about the situation and told me that he will speak to me about the issue the next morning when he was in the office. By the end of that day the room was already checked out of way before checkout time Which is 11 or 10 am the following day.I obtained pictures and video evidence supporting that before I left the room everything was in place as before I came . The same night of me checking out I wrote a Google review stating my honest opinion of my experience with picture evidence to support. Even though the customer service was bad and We Checked out very early due to blood stained sheets i never asked for a refund nor partial credit for what i had already paid for. I spent $190 A night for 2 nights for a suit with the hot tub included Plus a $300 deposit because I paid with cash . The next day after I had already checked out of the room I called concerning my deposit they told me that they had no knowledge of my deposit or where it went.I spoke to a lady then at the front desk . Im not sure but it seemed as If it was her first day working there. She asked me several times over and over my name what room number I was in and my phone number, Which I provided to her with no issue every time she forgot and asked again. She still proceeded to tell me that she did not know where the deposit was. She then Proclaim to have had my signature on file to collect The deposit that I had given for the suit . Surely I assured her that there had to be some kind of mistake because I was working that day and there was no way that I would have been able to come and sign for the deposit. I did let her know that I would be involving law-enforcement to get footage of “me” signing for a deposit that I never received! That next morning I contacted the manager he then told me that he did not have the deposit and to stop calling here and then hung up in my face . I then proceeded to call again someone answered and when they heard my voice they hung up, I then proceeded to call again it rang several times and no one answered . They stole my 300$ deposit and lied to me and told me that I came there and picked it up which was not true! They came up with a lie that I left my laptop but I came back to come there to pick up my laptop which was literally sitting next to me the WHOLE TIME and the deposit as well. I have never been in a situation like this ever in my life. They were trying to tell me that I was somewhere that I know for a fact I was not . I have a strong alibi from my place of work and have many ways to prove I was there. I am pretty sure that I am not the first person that they have did this to and I will not be the last. But I am now getting legal services involved in...

The hotel is not very well kept. The elevator smells like smoke; the carpet in my room had stains; the handle to flush the toilet was loose and as much as I tried tightening it, it would go right back; the counter in the bathroom with the faucet is poorly designed as the counter is very high up to my chest; the corner of the tub had mold; the room door could hardly shut properly; the sheets had hair; and lastly, the room had roaches. I was there for work purposes, so bypassed everything except when I noticed the roaches notified the staff there twice; the second time when I saw a roach, I went and told this Indian lady at the desk and asked if I could get another room. She told me she was booked to capacity and disregarding the matter by offering me bugs spray. I told her I didn't want to stay in that room let alone leave my stuff there because these roaches once they go in your things it travels with you and I told her I did not want to take them home with me. I had to be asking if there isn't anything she can do instead of her initiating a proper resolution. She then said I could leave my things in an office when I am leaving to work and when I am back, they will give me another room. I told her I didn't feel comfortable leaving my belongings, I will bring them with me. I also told her I would be contacting my agency (they booked the rooms for us to work in the area for 2 weeks). While at work I received a message from my agency that they switched my hotel (I didn't even call them as of yet being that I was so busy at work). When I finally reached out to the person in charge of booking the hotels, I was notified that my hotel was switched because this hotel evicted me. I asked if I was evicted for complaining of roaches and she told me no they evicted me because of behavior stating I told other guest of roaches which was a lie. When I was talking to that Indian lady it was an open area but I never directly said anything to anyone. Furthermore, I still had my room keys and they still had credit card on file. Long story short, I had to go back to the hotel after work because I had the keys and also wanted to ensure my deposit was returned, their computer system was down so the Indian lady said it will be done in the morning. I asked her about the comments made and she said she never said anything like that but because I didn't leave my things in the office, they never changed my room. I told her it was ok because my agency put me somewhere else. Even while there waiting, a customer came back saying the lady booked her in a room that is occupied. The next day I called back to ensure the money was returned being their system was down the night prior and it was showing pending on my card. I spoke with another Indian lady name Rita who ensured me my deposit was released. I also asked her about the incident because the other lady said she never said any of those lies; Rita said it must have been the general manager, but I said to her that person was never there. Rita said well maybe it was from the camera he saw it. I told her I want to see that recording because what was said to my agency was false and seeing I was wasting my time I told her to have a nice day. But never again, the staff lacks professionalism. Stay away from this place they have no accountability, the staff needs more customer service training, and more importantly they need to do a better job with...
