We wanted Holo Holo, 12 piece bucket of non-spicy chicken, coconut pie, and one non-spicy chicken sandwich. When I placed the order at the register, one of the managers, who rang me up, somehow forgot to include the chicken sandwich, and I had to remind her by repeating the order back to her once again. Maybe it’s because they were so busy and confused, but I’m not sure. The manager also explained to me that they no longer have coconut pies available, and was not sure when it would return. At this point, I was excited to receive my order and hadn’t eaten a full meal all day. I was quite hungry. The wait was only five minutes. My total came to close to $63. I thought that was outrageous but I really wanted to indulge in the taste of Jollibee’s famous chicken. We had a long drive back home and so we waited until we arrived home before we decided to eat. When we arrived home, we noticed that we did not get a 12 piece but instead a six piece and by the way, there are chicken pieces are a lot smaller than they used to be for some odd reason. I immediately called to complain and was offered a credit for the other six pieces along with a few pies during my next visit. The manager took my name and phone number and receipt number as a reference. Later on that evening, and after eating only the sandwich myself and my family enjoyed the six piece meal-in which was not enough to go around to everyone, we all experienced a really bad stomach ache and it was so bad that we each had to rush to the restroom repeatedly throughout the night. I’m guessing that the chicken was not completely cooked. We all experienced this before from other restaurants that try to quickly prepare meals involving fried chicken. I am not a happy camper and neither are my family members. We spent quite a bit of money for a very unhappy ending. Now, when Jollibee’s originally opened in our area, ( Pinellas county, Florida) everything was tactful and excellent, from the food, the cleanliness, to the customer service, however, from what we see now, things are not the same I don’t think they will ever be as good as the grand opening experience we encountered at this store again. I am very disappointed and regardless of what response I get from management on this review, they’re just words with no true follow up and correction. I’m sad to say, I just don’t see myself driving the extra 20 mile distance for their...
Read moreFist of all, I want to be clear about this review. If you are a first time diner with this company and go into the restaurant, ask tons of questions since they are not forthcoming. I have never been to a Jollibee before and seen a commercial and wow I will never be back for several reason not explained to me. If I have never been tell me what you do, and how you do it differently from other places that serve chicken a) I am sorry to say we dont serve white meat with any of our meals and just give you legs or thighs. ( They never told this to me, and I just spent 60 dollars for chicken legs) Yes they say it should have thighs but, well I got 2 thighs and 22 legs. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!
Lets do some comparison, shall we. KFC 12pc (2 of each, thighs breast wing and drum) cost chicken only 29.99
Popeyes 12 pc (2 of Each..should I repeat or do you get the picture) 12 pc Wing Combo (includes sides 19.29)
I should not have to wonder what I am getting, You should train your staff to inform new diners to your place. I have never been so disappointed in product, (taste, quality and selection) in quite some time. And you want to know what the kicker is when I called to complain, its what we do,,,,,,WHAT???????????
I tried to call corporate but got an answering machine that takes a message and not a real person. I live in florida and they are in california so office hours should still be going, but I guess not.
To make a long story short, Nope never again. And you should stay away as well. I will be sure to inform everyone I know to not waste their time....
Read moreLong story, cue violins... I'd waited over a year to go n decided to go to Jollibees on Valentines Day as a joke. Joke was on me! Cashier did not take our order correctly. Then, while we waited for our order to eat in the restaurant w a pager, he placed our order as a pick up for Doordash. Everyone ate n left while WE waited for our order that was on a shelf getting cold. After 25 minutes, n seeing others served both inside n curbside pick up, we ask about our order n another employee finds it in the Doordash pile! I didnt want it, because I thought, its going to be cold, but I didn"t want to make a scene n be a Karen over a few minutes. I was so wrong! Everything was lukewarm to me, but the chicken, that was still considered ""hot" enough for me, even though I like my FOOD piping hot! Verdict - The chicken was good, gravy meh, mash potatoes bland, spaghetti meh 2 forkfulls n done, trashed, as its lukewarm n the peach mango pie was delicious even cold. The employee that found our order apologized but the one that took our order was looking over n laughing. I had planned to order other menu items, round 2, but was disgusted n left! I should have complained, but they'd ruined the day enough n I wanted to move on n enjoy the rest of the night. BTW I ended up getting Beef Chow Fun from my local chinese restaurant for dinner as I had to eat something delicious. So disappointed, smh, as I had high expectations due to...
