Disappointed with My Nail Service – Won’t Be Returning

This was my first and last time coming to this salon for nails. I had Sophie do my nails, and after reading the reviews, I felt confident in my choice—unfortunately, I was wrong.

I showed Sophie a picture of what I wanted, and she assured me she could do it. When she applied the nail tips, I immediately noticed the shape was off and mentioned it. She told me she would fix it when filing, so I trusted the process. As she continued, I wasn’t thrilled with the pink color, but since I agreed to it, that was on me. However, as the acrylic was applied, I kept looking at the shape, and despite my concerns, she kept insisting she would fix it.

Once the nails were filed and painted, she asked if I liked them. I responded that they were “okay” because, at that point, nothing could be done. When I brought up the shape again, she finally admitted that they only have curved nail tips, so she couldn’t change it—something she never mentioned before. I wish I had known this from the start because I wouldn’t have gone through with the service.

I then got a pedicure, and when the nail tech asked about my nails, I told her I wasn’t excited about them they were okay. I had originally planned to match my toes to my nails, but after not liking the color, I just opted for a simple white. Luckily, the pedicure was done well, and I had no complaints about that.

Overall, I won’t be returning for nails, knowing they only offer curved tips and didn’t disclose that upfront. However, I may return for a pedicure in the future.

First time I visited here it was great, Sophie did a great job with my nails I MEAN THEY WERE AMAZING! which convinced me to come back! Second time around was not the best.. I wanted Sophie again but she was occupied and Kevin did my nails and this was the worst experience/nails ever. In the middle of doing my nails Kevin decided to leave to attend another guest for a pedicure that lasted about 45 mins, why? Idk! I don’t think that was good move to leave the customer in front of you to help someone else that came in afterwards, have them wait like everyone else, I was there longer than I needed to be. When he returns he starts my nails and I asked him for a design before he starts; because the design did not look like what I showed I told him to just paint my nails with a solid color instead, he immediately got upset/frustrated with me as if I wasn’t the paying customer! I then asked him to put diamonds and he kept repeating “you say you want design now you want diamonds” He was aggressive with my hands. I felt bad even requesting anything. I left the nail salon $65 down the drain for a full set I didn’t want! My nails were ugly and thick. The color was nice but everything about the service and nails was trash this time around. I had to literally go to a different place to get them reshaped and painted. Normally good nail techs knows what’s best for their customers and would recommend things and he did not...

This was my 2nd time going, both times with my sister. The first time my sister who has been going for over a year didn't like how the design turned out and asked for it to be removed it upset the tech. Mine was done beautifully. This time I went in my finger design turned put nicely I went for my pedi and wanted the design done on my big toe as well everyone that could do the designs was busy so I said no big deal just do the solid color. This seamed to aggravate the female in charge and I explained it was my decision. She asked if I still wanted the design I said if they had time so she did it, my autistic 8yr old could have done better. I told her I didn't like it and would rather have the solid color. She laughed started talking in her language to a co-worker looked at me laughing said you said you wanted the design. I said I did but it looks nothing like my hands it's not a big deal I'll just have the solid color. Needless to say when I left the solid color is on my skin and has streaks on my big toe.
