Would say this was hands down the worst experience for the cost. Highly recommend executive team review the operations of this hotel as I think it will only continue to hurt the Hyatt brand that I have come to love.||||-When I checked in there were for some reason 2 rooms booked, instead of 1 resulting in a charge of almost $3,000 on my credit card. Still waiting to get refunded for that room. On a happy note, one of the hotel front desks people removed the second room and charge, but have not been refunded yet.||||-Hotel had only 1 functioning elevator, which was already very slow. Made traveling up and down extremely painful. Management indicated that the elevator has been down for weeks. I get that some parts have long lead times, but don't understand how the Hyatt fleet inventory team isn't stocking spare critical parts to address this type of situation. Probably spent a total of 2 hours just waiting for the elevator during this 4 day visit. Additionally, the house keeping team was continually going up and down and some of them had extremely bad hygiene and smelled terrible.||||-The parking situation at the hotel was extremely frustrating, especially since the hotel hosted two weddings during my stay. (For the life of me I don't understand why the hotel continued to book up all the rooms with a single functioning elevator.) It was poorly communicated that there is not enough parking for all hotel guests and thus had to parking down the street in another garage, which I then had to facilitate payment for separately, then go back to the lobby front desk to make sure the removed the parking charge.||||-On multiple occasions after the janitor mopped in the lobby and in the parking garage elevator entrance area the rooms smelled like vomit. I know 2 minutes prior to his mopping in the lobby, it did not smell like vomit. So I can only infer that the Janitor is mopping with some disgusting water or bad chemicals. It smelled terrible. Possibly he mopped up vomit in one location and then just continued to use the same water to mop in other locations. Not sure why other staff members like the front desk let this happen and didn't intervene with the Janitor.||||-Another instance with the janitor, my brother law went to use the hotel lobby bathroom and saw the janitor coming out as he was going in and simply asked if he happened to be finished. He rudely replied to my brother in law.||||-The front desk lady working the night shift on Saturday (10/11) was horrible. She has no people skills. I saw her go pull the police officer from the wedding to deal with an angry customer because Hyatt gave away the families room. Highly recommend firing this lady as she has zero skills in people management and de-escalation.||||-Other small items to note, front desk did not thank for being a globalist, did not offer waters, did not ask how my stay was when I checked out.||||In summary, the mood and culture at the hotel was toxic on both the guests and staff side. As I said above, I generally love the hyatt brand and I don't want to see that brand hurt by this location. Recommend immediate intervention by the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe booked our stay over 4 months before. The property is in a good location for eating and shopping. The Hotel was clean. We did have 3 issues while staying there. First the parking is tight underneath the building. They charge you $22.00, but there is not enough parking for everyone's car. You have to use a public parking garage across and down the street. Staying there is a little cheaper but more of an inconvenience. They have two parking spaces out front for valet. But they are always occupied and loading and unloading of your suitcases is difficult because you would have to block the lane. Second, before you book make sure that they are not hosting any events. There was a wedding there and another event on Friday and Saturday that exposed us to loud music till 10:30PM, and they still made noise till 11:00PM with the clean-up. We went with out 5 year old, he had a difficult time to fall asleep took two hours. If they placed us on the outside of the building, maybe it would have been less music. They posted little signs about the party at check in. But there should've been some type of notification either during the booking process or after. When it was brought up to the desk, they just shook their head and said they were sorry we were walking up and down the stairwell and we seen a drunk lady fall in the early evening. Then we seen other intoxicated people walking throughout the hotel definitely not for a young family. Also we were told on our second day house cleaning would come and only changed the towels and empty the garbage. I verified this with a night representative at the check-in. I then in preparation cleaned and packed all our clothes and suitcases so the Housekeeping Could come in and do their jobs but when we got home after a day of events, we found the same dirty towels in the garbage there. I went down to speak to the same representative and she started shaking her head telling me that I was wrong that house cleaning was not supposed to come on the second day. When I explained what she told me the night before she thought of about it and says oh, you're right. She then gave me some towels, but we kept the garbage in the room for four days. I think talking down to your guests is not a good sales plan. We understand that they made a lot of money with the wedding, probably more than all the rest of the people in the hotel. But that doesn't mean we need to pay full price for something and only receive half of the product. Moving forward I will definitely not go back to this location or any other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay so I wasn't going to write a review but since they have failed to care about my stay and health even after I went to from desk with my complaint, talked to manager and even the Hyatt customer service. So I'll start by saying I have stayed at many hotels around the country and this wasn't my first pick because it doesn't have the amenities I usually look for because of my health dealing with low blood sugar problems but I booked with them because it was close to the place of someone I was visiting. I arrived there and took my stuff upstairs, got to my room and things seemed clean, slept on top of covers because I just crashed after my flight. Next day when I pulled the covers to the side so I could go to bed and cover myself since it was cold in PA I see stains on the sheets, brown circular stains on the left side of the bed. So I decided to just sleep on the other side because it was late and they didn't send no one to clean then having me wait until morning but me being me I woke up on the other side from moving in my sleep and I ended up getting a bad rash and even had to go get checked when I got back to Texas, i was itchy and I was in pain. When I talked to front desk the guy there told me to my face "Yeah the cleaning workers can be lazy and take shortcuts but I'll let them know to change the sheets" like seriously? I pay money to get dirty sheets and someone telling me its common to hear this from guests? and when I spoke to the manager I told him what was going on with me but I saw he wasn't very concerned considering all he dad was say "I'm sorry to hear that happened to you" but when I mentioned what his staff said his face changed very fast to shock but I was more shocked he was more concerned of what his staff said to me instead of my health. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this place at all if anyone asked me if it's a good place and not to mention if you have a problem they don't seem to care about their guests as long as they pay they are happy. Btw if any of you at the hotel or customer service thank you for checking on me or giving me a call to ask how the hell am I....oh wait they haven't called and been trying...
