The cashier gave me $40 cash back when I did not select cashback. I love aldi, but I'm reviewing this particular location and this particular cashier. This has happened twice now (last time, it was $10), and the cashier told me it has been happening all day. This cashier blamed it on the system (and last time she said that I must have clicked the button, which I did not.) This shows zero accountability and a lack of customer service skills. She didn't even say that she would bring this up to her manager. She just laughed and told me she didn't know how to get the money back on my card, and that I could go to an ATM. I have never heard of this kind of "glitch" happening on any POS system (and Google search didn't bring up any stories either). It's quite unbelievable that the system would allow such a huge error to continue for more than an hour, let alone weeks on end. I suspect this cashier simply needs more training in knowing how to use the system, customer service, and teamwork/reporting issues to the manager. Read moreBesides not have sanitizing wipes for the carts or hot pepper cheese they have been pretty good at maintaining stock levels during this pandemic. My biggest complaint in regards to the South side store has to be their remodel and the new customer flow problem it has created. The new floor plan inserted the entire produce department at the front of the in the first isle where chips and chocolate used to be located. This has caused a huge cluster puck as soon as you walk into the store, only made worse by the large delivery cart parked in the middle of the isle while the stock person restocks the cases. I don't know who's in charge of flow design but they definitely failed this time. Other than those fails It's not all bad the employees are personable and knowledgeable the shelves are well stocked Although not always clearly marked price wise. I would score it with 6...
Read moreI was shoping at this store about 5:30PM and when I got there I took a shoping cart as always, so when I finish shoping and paying for my food I asked the cashier to give me the 25 cents back because the cart she gave me did not have it in it, then she told me to put the cart where they supposed to be; also she said that when I attach the cart chain to the other cart in the line it would give me the 25 cents back but she did not understand the cart she gave me did not have the 25 cents. The point here is not about the 25 cents, it is that this robbery is happening every time I go shoping to Aldi and I think their corporate headquarter should take care of that stealing issue...
