Good motel for an overnight stop. The room had 2 full size beds, table and chairs for two. There was a tv atop a chest of drawers, and a night stand between the beds. A small microwave and mini fridge (both were very clean). There were 2 mini soap body bars in the bathroom no other toiletries. Make sure to bring your own. Also no alarm clock- so remember to set your phone alarm. Room was acceptable. Decor was dated, but fairly clean. Mattress was firm. Pillows seemed smaller? Bathroom was bright and reasonably clean. The baseboard heating had a little rust and some sharp edges. The floor, sink, and tub/shower were clean. Unfortunately the weather stripping at the outside door had a big open space which explains the two ants we found by the door. To get into the motel, you drive off the highway into a well lit, courtyard. There were security cameras in use to monitor the lot and premises. We felt reasonably safe. Would I stop here again? Yes. Close to gas stations and convenience stores.

Location was convenient. I stay in hotels/motels frequently and normally a booking is good for (2) guests however the owner tried charging me extra per day for the second person who was actually my significant other. Unbelievable and then they were constantly wanting to clean the room. We found out on day 2 the reason why.. they have cockroaches. I even made video documentation on this- the owner had the audacity to say that maybe I brought them there.. excuse me?! I will never recommend or stay there again. County Health Department notified and proof sent to them.

Nice rooms clean don't smell ... unfriendly owner ... VERY COLD ROOMS.. do not stay in the winter months they shut off power to the electric wall heaters and only have hot water base board heaters ... room will not get above 60 degrees... Wi-Fi is terrible... if you just need to stay for 1 night It wouldn't be bad but do not plan an extended stay here

Oh, let me TELL you about my wonderful experience with these scumbags. A somewhat handicapped guy I take care of from my church found himself locked out of his house, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn't put him up at my house. He lived near the South Hills Motel, so I figured that I'd put him up for the night there.

To check him in, we rang the doorbell at the office. The clerk came to the window, and I said, "My friend is locked out of his house for the night. Can I pay for a room for him?"

Looking funny at my friend, he lied, saying "Uh, no, we don't have any."

I then went outside, seeing all the vacant rooms, and rang the bell saying, "Sir, there are plenty of rooms."

"Sir, I have four people coming in later!" he lied.

I later put my friend up at the Hampton Inn up the road.

After I got home, I called, disguising my voice, saying, "Uh, do you have any rooms for the night?"

He said, "Yeah, we do."

Talking in my normal voice, I said, "Oh REALLY? Then why did you lie to me an hour ago when you said you had no rooms for the night?"

"Quit trying to call me!" he inarticulately yelled and hung up.

We weren't looking for charity; we were looking to do business. I was willing to pay for a room so my friend could have a roof over his head for the night and not have to sleep at the bus station, and this clerk, perhaps since my friend was handicapped, lied, and didn't want to do business.

There's a VERY special place in hell for...

I recently stayed here for a week with my wife about a week ago while in town visiting family who live nearby in the Pittsburgh area. The staff was very accommodating and we received room service everyday. They made sure our room was clean throughout our entire stay. The rooms overall are fantastic for the price that we payed. There was great wifi in the room and the internet had no problems, TV's were flat screen as advertised and seemed pretty new. My wife was a fan of the beautiful bathrooms and after complimenting on them to the front desk clerk she had said they were just recently remodeled! The landscaping in the middle of the motel was very flattering you could tell the staff worked hard to keep the place clean, and up to date. Upon staying here with my wife we decided that this was a great place for the price, service, and accommodations offered in the...
